Perhaps you should take a look at the film he financed called When Mitt Romney Came to Town. When you've done that you can look at the Bloomberg and New Yorker articles about Romney and Bain.

Some of them are beginning to discern that things may not go their way in November. They were utterly convinced Obama couldn't win. Their fear is literally palpable. I'm telling you, I said yesterday that there is going to be a mass explosion on this board, and SF will be leading the way because he and his temperament are not prepared for this. It's a good idea to be scarce here until election night when it will get really funny.

KB Toys, Ampad, GS Steel... all going under, would have gone under long before they did if not for Bain (or a company like them). Do you understand the fact that PE involvement is not a guarantee to turn a failing company around? Sometimes they don't make it. Sometimes parts of the companies make it and other parts don't.

I would be more than happy to discuss anyone of the above individual companies with you. But you don't really want that, do you?

And sometimes when they "don't make it", they go down in flames after paying the company who claimed to be 'helping' them (Bain) 100 million on a 5 million dollar investment, after loading them with debt then stripping them bare - oh, and laying everyone off.

If those companies had gone bankrupt and you have no way of knowing that, then I am sure they would have been able to give their redundant employees a decent payoff. Having crippling debts added to their books ensured that the only winners were Bain and Romney. Romney learnt all his tricks from that crook Michael Milken who invested $300 million in Bain.

How was what Bain supposedly did with companies any different from that of what Obama did with our money when it comes to Solyndra, or GM?

the verdict is in. romney did a good job at bain and helped many businesses and created many jobs. thanks recognizing that.
