Gay marriage activists are planning to swarm Starbucks on Tuesday in an attempt to counter the record sales from last week’s Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day.


The chicken chain enjoyed a surge of support during the Wednesday event, dreamed up by former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee after Chick-fil-A President Dan Cathy went on the record backing the “biblical definition of the family unit.”


A follow-up protest from Chick-fil-A critics on Friday, which was dubbed Same Sex Kiss Day, was more subdued.

Advocates for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights are trying again Tuesday with National Marriage Equality Day, initiated by Equally Wed, a lesbian and gay wedding magazine. So far, nearly 28,000 people have signed up to attend.

I saw no long lines of people standing outside waiting to get in yesterday, and I pass by no less that four Starbucks on my way to work.
 
Gays in the US represesnt 1.8% of the population yet we are to believe they are a powerhouse econmic force. More bullshit.

The gay marriage rant is already starting to lose steam. I knew these flakes lacked the ability to sustain their attack on the sanctity of marriage. Now they'll have to find some other cause to infiltrate and corrupt.

Um... what do you think the percentage is?

While he is off, the actual number is about 4%... and that was a recent study release, previously it had been thought to be below 2% (though that is likely due to the fact that many are still afraid to come out of the closet due to the hostility from bigots)
