Disagree, although I think Lloyd and Cheney are competition. Cheney is probably the team's best ball handler, although she can't shoot worth a damn. Even though I am a Hope Solo fan, I think Lloyd deserves to receive the Gold for the team instead of Solo or Wambach, because she won us that final game.

London: Foreign journalists have voted London 2012 as the best Olympics they have ever seen.
They are praising the friendliness of the people in Britain.
“You walk past someone and they say hi, which is not something you associate with the reserved English,” the Daily Star quoted one journalist as saying.
Gary Lemke, of the South African Media Organisation, said: “It is my fifth Olympics and the best I’ve been to.”
Roger McMillan, from Australian Sailing magazine, added: “The thing I’ve been impressed with is the friendliness. Everyone’s happy and getting involved in the spirit of the Games.”

London 2012 has been the greenest Olympics ever, the commission set up to monitor the environmental impact of the Games has announced.
The independent Commission for a Sustainable London 2012 said recycling and regeneration had been a success.
But it said much more could be done to minimise the impact of future Olympic Games on people and the planet.
Commission chairman Shaun McCarthy said London had set high standards for future Olympic host cities to follow.

I agree, the London Olympics were pretty awesome. Just look at all of those shiny medals that the USA managed to acquire! The US managed to extract a small fortune in gold from the country without the aid of opium.

And yet our athletes are the best at winning consecutive medals. In the top 10 for totals earned 7 are American. American athletes are the ONLY ones to earn more than 3 medals per athlete.
