What is Johnsons tracking at present? 5% maybe 6%? And do you suppose that this exercise in principles will draw most of its votes away from which candidate? Romney, or Obama?

of course, ron paul would be choice #1. john bolton would have been #2. but freedom lost when the TEA party let the GOP establishment hijack them and brainwash them.

Paul has some solid ideas about the FED, and limiting government, but had NO CHANCE as a mainstream candidate. Even he knew that...All you Pauliacs are doing by voting Johnson is voting Obama back in while displaying sour grapes. It would be my preference to see more limited government also, but like I said, the current crop of Paul supporters are nearly as bad in some cases as liberals in their tactics, and want it all or nothing. Talk about caring more for the ideology than the country, sheesh! Even Rand Paul is backing Romney, and then there is this....

Come on libertarians...Get in the game....time to stop Obama, unless you think playing into his hand is ok, as long as your principles are upheld....

Yup, all that matters is that Democrats don't win. Never mind that the Republican candidate is just the white version of Obama, we can't have Democrats win. And if by some miracle Romney does win, in 4 years I'll hear the exact same line about how we have to keep the opposite party out of office, regardless of what Romney does, did, or will do. Reward him for his failure with your votes! It's the only way to save the nation! REWARD FAILURE!

Then I hope you are willing to take that responsibility. I admire your steadfastness, I just think that at this time in our nations history it is misplaced. You want to stick to your principles fine! Good for you, and in any other time in this nations history it wouldn't be so dire as it is now, but you know this election could be won or lost based on a 2 or 3% swing. If you represent that, then you bear the brunt of the blame when the country burns.

I will bear no brunt of blame when the country burns. That falls squarely on the shoulders of the democrats and republicans, the liberals and conservatives. My conscience will be clear.

Nope, sorry dude but knowing that your group will pull around 5% away from the repub candidate and allow Obama to win, you will indeed be responsible for not doing what you could have to stop it....
