Cites, sources, and general propaganda

Hey crybaby - who took it 'off topic' here?

http://www.justplainpolitics.com/sh...-and-general-propaganda&p=1054234#post1054234

Grow up. As evidenced in the post above, you're a lil' drama queen. Deal with its consequences or learn how to participate on an adult discussion forum.

:rofl2:

Man, you are textbook fucked up....Now would you like to actually address the thread, instead of pointless attacks on me, then by all means let's have that adult discussion....Although I doubt you will.

I already did, doofus. I sent you back to the drawing board. 'My blog's better than your blog' doesn't constitute a refutation of ThinkProgress. Remember?

good post ekg. I can agree that Fox also has stories that I hear and yell bull shit at the screen about. But this is really less about Liberal hatred for FOXNews, or Conservative hatred for MSNBC, as much as it is about how groups like the Soros backed thinkprogress, or Markos at dailyKOS are propagandists with an agenda to change this country to a more socialistic model against the will of the people. I know you disagree, but I respect your post, it was well written and thought out...Thank you.

Here's an idea that might twirl your toes.. LOL

Think about this for a second.. You mentioned Soros and Kos as being propagandist with an agenda.. and you admit Fox has issues.. Well, the Koch Bros can buy and sell Soros 10 times over,. don't they have an agenda as well? and Roger Ails/Rupert Murdoch have an extreme amount of 'news giving' power with TV,Radio and print.. enough that there really is no comparison to them and Kos who is just a website. Wouldn't you agree that Fox has an agenda as well? It may be one you agree with, but it's definitely there, right?

I totally see your point about certain types with an agenda that's utterly horrible for the discourse in our politics or an entity with power forcing their views upon an unknowing population.. I just disagree as to where your attention should be. If it's agenda-based propaganda that you're fighting against you can't just leave off ppl like Adelson who will spend 100 million to elect Romney with whatever 'ads' he has can buy, the Koch bros with their billions who will spend whatever they want to elect a friendly potus who will,as Grover Norquist said, be the rubber stamps for any and all things the conservatives want to do..and Rupert Murdoch who's own media conglomerate donated 100 million to the republican governor's association in the 2010 mid-terms.. How does Kos match up to that in any way? I mean, Fox news' parent company donated to a political campaign.. you don't think they'll be propagandist and try to change the course of an election to get a return on that investment?

It just seems as though you want to focus on the peas and ignore the carrots, potatoes and 16oz steak sitting on the plate by sloughing off Fox as just the rival of MSNBC.. they are so much more that maybe you don't know about..

take a look at this list and tell me how Kos or TP match up to just this one entity..

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_assets_owned_by_News_Corporation

and here's the twirl... who has more power to shape an agenda? Who has the print, radio and cable news strength to insert an idea and change the way something is viewed? If Rupert Murdoch didn't like Soros, isn't it possible he could sway the entire line of discussion on him? Make Soros, who almost single-handedly brought down communism and brought capitalism and pro-democracy to a Hungary and other places, into some monster the Right should fear? Could Kos do that?

who has the power to really shape the discussion with propaganda and an agenda to change this country against the will of the people.. a single website

it's just something you should think about if you're truly aghast at the ability of one or 2 people to change the agenda of a country with their media power.. I mean, who really is the 'kingmaker' with an agenda and the power to push it?

something else I noticed..

the quote at the bottom of your post..

Concentrated power has always been the enemy of liberty. - Ronald Reagan

if Kos and Soros bother you.. then you have to see the dangers with News Corp and Fox news if you believe what Reagan said...

"Hurt me"? What an odd assertion....nah, you're like a gnat flying around. Largely inconsequential to most things buy annoying none the less, and if I were talking to a group, while your kind was buzzing around all you'd hear is the *thwack* of the rolled up newspaper as it smashed you to the table....I don't put you on ignore Bijou because I hold out hope...Yes, that's right, I am an optimist...Not that I will ever change your mind or anything, but rather that you will get back on your meds some day and chill enough to have a rational conversation.

See, sometime back in one of our back and forth's, I was ribbing you about you being bi-polar, and Darla tipped your hand, by inquiring if I knew you or something...Now, it's no giant deal if you are, I have great empathy for someone in your circumstance. But, I can also spot the delusional ranting of a manic state which you project quite clearly.

I also feel bad for feeding into it to some extent, but Bijou, you really do need to face it, you need to speak to your therapist, and your Doc, to adjust your meds. If you aren't attacking other posters, you are just making no sense with smilies, and dumb ass comments that have nothing to do with the topic.

Get help girl...I worry about you.

Too fucking funny...you rail on about lib insults, yet insult is your first resort when backed into a corner.
You are a joke, son.

More irony...unbelievable. Pot, kettle black. Fucking hilarious.

In Canada where apparently there is still some integrity, Fox cannot call itself a news show, since it is self-admittedly NOT news, but rather lies and mistruths for entertainment purposes. At least Joke Mac admits there are "problems" lol.

It is good of you to try to help Joke Mac, but he is nothing more than a serious idiot. You will not reach him for the best of your efforts.

Over the course of several threads I have noticed several different questionable sources used as cites for information used by the left in their arguments, when they are not childishly attacking other members, and debate opponents. For as long as I can remember on the net, in different forums, one constant is that when a conservative uses an opinion, or a news article as sourcing for their opinion, it is instantly decried, and defamed by the left as instantly un-credible, and dismissed.

This tactic is, aside from being purely frustrating in civil debate, it is Alinsky tactic, and dishonest. And it should be noted that we as conservatives also do our own fair share of complaining about certain web sites as well, but the difference, and an important one, is that when we complain about sites like thinkprogress, dailyKOS, and lately the dangerous website 'thefogbow.com', which as a side note if I were an administrator of this site, would not allow to be used here. These are some of the original "obots" and, thugs and hackers that should you draw their eye, will stop and little including in person intimidation, and fraud to destroy you. An eye opening interview with a person known as "Tracy" who uncovered who the people behind thefogbow are, and their connections here:

http://www.blogtalkradio.com/askshow/2011/06/24/the-andrea-shea-king-show

One thing I have to hand to progressives, is that they are absolute masters at concocting entangled webs of deceit to hide their tracks, so that others like Bijou here can say "prove it" "prove it" "prove it" and then add in the caveats about citing, and documenting all the way through while she and others continually dismiss anything in response.

On thinkprogress, we know who runs the site that would be John Podesta of Clinton fame, backed by George Soros. Here is the web they have constructed:

Thinkprogress are not a truthful endeavor, instead they are dissemblers and propagandists that are out to lead the sheeple into their distorted manner of thinking.

TP exists by twisting, and outright lying about republicans...Like here:

Or this one...

or here:

so, the conclusion is that they at best are radical partisan hacks, at worst are just plain liars that could care less about their credibility.

There are legitimate debates that can be had about these topics, but when you are forced to see page after page of snark, insult, childish mockery, and outright lies in the form of sites like TP, fogbow, demo underground, or dailyKOS to mention a few, it is absolutely laughable when a liberal in here tries to mock their opponent for using an opinion represented as such, and distract the conversation in that manner.

Your sites are laughable libs, and are bare for all to see as the liars, and corrupt shills they are.

Thoughts.

Well, it certainly seems like you spent quite a while composing that post...the only problem is you rely on unfounded opinion and third party hearsay.

Despite the fact you don't like WHERE the info comes from, the fact remains that the basics...the who, what, where, when, why and how of the story remain the truth despite any supposed Liberal slant they may get from the author.

If Think Progress reports that "Michigan councilman gets Secret Service visit after depicting Obama’s head on a spike"...you may not agree with the flavor of the article, but the basic facts driving the story still remain true.

really? I did not know that..

That's pretty awesome actually..
