Why has the RNC not invited Sara Barracuda and GWB to appear and give a live speech to the convention in Tampa?


The shining stars of the Republican party are being held back?
 
GWBush wants nothing more to do with politics .. and I respect him for that.

Palin looks too much like Paul Ryan to have her there.

There was no credibility to begin with. She was a walking contradiction right out of the gate. From her knocked-up daughter, speaking-in-tongues/exorcism religious wackiness and dearth of knowledge masquerading as 'down-home charm', she revealed herself to be an empty suit at best and sell-out fraud at worst. Hundreds of thousands were spent dressing, coaching and tutoring her, yet the truth about her kept peeking through the facade.

More than anything else, she revealed how shallow, short-sighted and ignorant the GOP is. Their strategy was to pick a woman as McCain's running mate. A WOMAN. One who would rally the base and bump up McCain's numbers. So - did they pick a strong, smart woman? One with an impeccable record? No to all of the above. They picked a MILF. A thoroughly-unqualified, but easy-on-the-eyes MILF. One who would parrot all the right red meat while getting the dirty old whitey righties hard.

Substance isn't what matters; winning is what matters. The ability to govern effectivey = doesn't matter. A vision and executable plan for progress = doesn't matter. The assumption that any fuckable woman is the ticket, because 'fuckable' is the number one attribute valued in women - this is the message that the GOP's choice of Palin drove home.

A black man - Herman Cain. As long as he's black. He needn't be smart, nor honest, nor decent, and absolutely doesn't need to be the least bit qualified - just black.

These are the shallow perspectives of the GOP.
