You're entitled to your opinion. You can hate my morals, think they're disgusting, hate me, etc. And guess what? Your opinion of me and my morals doesn't give you the right to dictate to me what I can and cannot do. If I want to abort my unborn child, I will, whether you approve or not.
It IS a human life, however undeveloped. That's irrelevant. What matters is who can decide whether to keep it or kill it. Only the mother can. To provide 'rights' to the unborn requires rescinding those same rights from its mother. That's why this issue is a no-brainer for reasonable people. Reasonable people don't have to scratch their heads over that one: mom wins. End of story. That's why abortion is legal, doofus.

your logic is flawed in the extreme. just because something is legal does not mean it is just. this is a complex issue and one you are not qualified to discuss. you justify the killing of human life based on some rights of the woman to choose to end life. if that is case, you should openly support any ending of human life, no matter the stage of the human.

It isn't a complex issue at all. Every woman I've ever known who chose to abort arrived at the decision through much emotional anguish. Your logic about the stages of human life is irrational. You want to make moral decisions for others. You don't have that right. Only mothers have that right for their unborn children because until they're born, they're part of the mother. That's a convenient fact that all you detached men keep deliberately ignoring.

if it isn't complex...then why "much emotional anguish"? because it is in fact complex and the answer is not as cut and dry as you would have us believe. they are part of the mother and also separate from the mother in that it is a separate human life. your comment about men is fucking stupid and shows how irrational you are on the matter. there a numerous women who believe you're wrong, but you and snarla just like to hate on men.

arguing choice is a bad argument to make. it's never going to convert anyone on the fence. Scale it up a bit, use the same logic for fully grown humans:
"I maintain that the CHOICE to kill my 4 year old child is the issue"

Saying this to those that are anti-abortion, or even on the fence, is just never going to work. it's going to go in one ear and out the other. It's wasted energy. Because the otherside firmly believes it is a person that is being killed. There is no compromise. Hence why this has been such a huge battle for decades with almost zero compromise.
A much better angle is arguing that no one should give a shit about a ball of cells. That it's not sentient, doesn't have a fully formed brain, and isn't fully a person.

bad logic. if that were the case, third trimester abortions would also be legal. (outright banned or severe restrictions in 36 states).
Also a handful of states ban them even earlier than that.
The reason it is legal is because for the majority of abortions, it's just a clump of cells.
