GOP Platform: Women Not Human

LMAO... women are free to use birth control. The pill, condoms for their male counterparts etc...

Abortion is not birth control. It is your views that lack logic.
You're obviously behind the times...do some research (I know you won't) and find out all the ways a personhood bill would impact families. We are talking about families, not just 'women'.

I have children and would never equate abortion, for example, to one of them being killed via accident, homicide or war.

I wouldn't equate accidental death to an abortion either. It would be the same as a miscarriage.

The argument that they should not be entitled to basic human rights protections is a valid argument, we obviously differ on when they should be afforded those rights. What irritates me are those people who pretend it is not a unique human life that is being ended.

Link me up to what you would have me read. I will do so.

What irritates me is the selectiveness used in debating life and if/when it should be ended. Don't call yourself (plural, not you in particular) "pro-life" if you're really just anti-abortion.

society makes moral decisions for others all the time. that's basically what government facilitates. Again, another bad argument and bad logic.

For the record, I'm actually on your side regarding this issue, I just can't stand poorly formed arguments. Drives me crazy.

It neither a 'bad argument' nor is it 'bad logic'. Late in the second trimester, and third trimester babies can be and often are viable outside of the womb. Hence, they don't have to be part of the mother to survive. That's the difference. Viability is why it isn't okay to kill a 4 year old child. Your analysis of my argument is inaccurate.

Also, no, it isn't a 'clump of cells'. That's a lie. And when pro-choice people LIE to further their position, they've lost before they've started.
