REALLY? ANOTHER racist incident involving an RNC attendee.

Here's Irene Harris's post:
Offended at Epcot

Posted August 29, 2012 by * * * in 2012 Elections, Delegate to the National Convention.

Prior to National Republican Convention we visited Disney for three days. During our time at Epcot we visited the different countries. It was neat seeing each country and the employees were from that individual country. Then we visited America . . . one would think you would find American employees. We were offended to find a person from Mexico working in America. Mark spoke up and told them he was highly offended after visiting the other countries and seeing employees from that country and then come to America and find a Mexican. He was very civil but his point was well made.

Disgusting.

Here's Irene and Mark:

Nobody really expected a Racist POS like Dixie to actually call a racist a racist.

And nobody really expected a Racist POS like Zapped to actually understand that criticism such as his, are indicative of how racists dilute the issue and marginalize true racism in America, and he does it purely for the sake of politics.

GOP talking point. Stale. Ineffective.

I wouldn't say it's "disgusting" they had a Mexican standing in for an American, but they could have at least found a Native American, don't you think?

What's "disgusting" is that Irene felt having a Mexican working in America was offensive.

I think the fact that you agree with Mark and Irene speaks volumes for your own ignorance and racism.

One wonders...did Ms Harris check the papers of each countrys "employees" at Epcot, or did she just assume everyone was from where they claimed based on their skin color?

Now, don't you know there are no racist Republicans? They all seem to deny it...

It's not racist to think that a display which should have featured an "American" is featuring a "Mexican." How the hell is that indicative of racism? Where in the living fuck do draw such a conclusion? A person from Mexico is NOT a person from the United States! That's not racist, it's just a fucking fact of life... just like a white European from New York is not a Japanese person! Is it racist to point that out???

Did Mark and Irene call for "nasty Mexicans to be banished from the continent?" Is there something there which indicates they are prejudiced against Mexican people? Did they call for people to boycott Epcot because they had a Mexican working there? Was any of this inferred or suggested? No... all the fuck they did, was question why the USA display had a Mexican instead of someone representative of the USA. I don't see any racism in that, I see an honest and legitimate question, and one you haven't bothered to answer because you are screaming RACISM at the top of your lungs.... meanwhile, out in the REAL world, some redneck is dragging a black man behind a pickup truck... but hey, that's okay, let's not pay any attention to that, when we have a political cow-chip to play with!

Way too stupid to qualify as worthy of a thoughtful response.

You're too ignorant and racist yourself. This ^^ pathetic excuse for a post is a prime example.

I rest my case.

It's not racist to assume that a non-Caucasian isn't an American, is it?

I don't know, I don't know the context! No generally speaking, you wouldn't distinguish "American" by whether someone was Caucasian. But was this some random event thing, or a specific cultural display? What if Epcot dressed up a black person like a Geisha dancer and plopped them in the Japan display, would that have been appropriate? What if they took a Jamaican and stuck a big prosthetic nose on them and put them in the Israel display? Would that be appropriate, or maybe it could be construed as racist? What if they had put a white dude in a stereotypical Mexican sombrero and poncho, in the Mexican display... would that be alright with you? I am sure there are some white dudes who live in Mexico.

This, from my understanding, was a cultural display... that's where each culture is represented.. in a display... just for clarification.

So why is it "racist" to point out things that seem out of order or inaccurate with such a display?

So you believe that no "Mexican" has ever been, or will be, born in this country and therefore an AMERICAN.

So you believe a "Mexican" born in this country isn't representative of someone from the USA.

Understood.

Hee hee hee...sometimes it's just too easy!

I don't know, I don't know the context!

That didn't stop you from rendering a judgment on the subject, did it?

Why don't you read about the incident, acquaint yourself with the known facts, and get back to me?

Hey, my granddad was a democrat, not a republican. Why do you leave out the dems? My Granddad sure was a racist.

I don't know how old you are but I remember those disgusting, racist dems and they've all, for the most part, moved over to the Tpublicans beginning with Reagan.
