Why do so many on the left make the presidential race about skin color?

Again you ask a question that you don't really want an answer to.

This is post 133 and you still have yet to stand your ground and debate intellectually. Your entire schtick is to deflect, bob and weave, and run from a real debate.

I answered your question in my first post .. then you whined about bring race into a conversation about RACE.

you are just another dishonest liberal. how do you know i don't want an answer? what i find is that YOU constantly run away from the actual debate and stick with the usual ad homs above.

it is you who doesn't want honest debate. i am trying to understand the issue and that entails asking questions that obviously cause you great discomfort. you have not answered my question about who on the right or cited examples.

you made it about race by claiming that the gop only wants a white candidate or something like that. that is completely different than what the thread topic is about. to claim it is not shows how dishonest you are. you are in fact the perfect example of those on the left making it about race.

And Yurt will have you doing this dance all day if you're willing to.

When you have no social life, even negative attention is better than none at all.

I love my ignore function. :)

You are absolutely correct .. and life is too short to dance with ugly people. :0)

I think all that need be said here has already been said.

The race of the candidates wasn't an issue in modern presidential elections until 2008. That's doesn't mean that race wasn't an issue in those elections. I thought the question was why "the left" has to make the election about race, not why "the left" has to tell the apparently unsighted among us that Obama is a black man and that Romney is a white man.

once again, you avoid my questions. why is that?

btw...i never asked why the left has to tell people obama's skin color or romney's....perhaps you should stop being obtuse and actually answer the questions.

nice dodge of my question. why is it an issue that needs to be frequently brought up? skin color was not an issue in 04'. no one is denying their skin color, the point of this thread, which you should grasp, is the need for so many on the left to make it an issue. why do we need to repeatedly told obama is black, romney is white? is it really that important?

What a fucking LIAR you are ..

you've been telling us that being opposed to Democrats is racist.......you've been telling us that not wanting nationalized health care is racist.......you've been telling us that being opposed to trillion dollar deficits is racist......at this point, I'm going to assume that preferring 7UP to Coke is racist in your view.....

It appears that lying to one's face even when it's so easy to disprove has become typically republican.

Looks like he attributes things to you personally at least THREE TIMES...now of course he's denying he ever did just that, despite the evidence right before his eyes.

Moronic appears to be the new normal for republicans and the right. :0)

I'm looking forward to the post-election board.

See I thought this thread was about race and American presidential politics, not the race of the two candidates in this here election. The former is an interesting subject of discussion, the latter not so much. You can carry on without me.

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.
~Martin Luther King, Jr.

today we have so many on the left constantly bringing up the color of skin of our presidential candidate's. many on this site also ridiculed clint eastwood for his skin color, white. we constantly hear how obama is black and romney is white. who is talking about skin color? nearly all of the talk is coming from the left. can we start to focus on the content of their character and not judge them by the color of their skin?

try reading the OP next time and next time try not responding about the candidates race and then run away when you're confronted with tough questions about your claims.

another liberal runs away from yet another discussion when presented with difficult questions.

this site is becoming extremely boring.

This site has been boring for a long long time, Yurt, thanks in part to your chronic dumbassery.

nice try. i actually debate issues and don't run away. unlike most of the liberals on this board. you just can't handle it when i ask tough questions about your statements. you get all pissy like the above and run away.

you could have backed up your statements, but instead you chose the easy way out.

Maybe you'd enjoy yourself more if you tried actually DEBATING someone once in a while.

It's boring for you because EVERYONE has learned that, despite your protestations to the contrary, you aren't interested in anything other than playing petty "gotcha" games.

You answer questions asked of you with more questions and then whine about it when you get the same in return.

Maybe if JUST ONCE someone saw you LEAD BY EXAMPLE for a change instead of whining when others won't play your petty games, they might engage you in a debate.

I just won't hold my breath waiting for that to happen

what have you debated in this thread zappa? what questions have i not answered?

why is it you must make every thread you post in about a poster and not the thread topic?

you are a prime example of why this site largely sucks now.

Behold...Yurt doing what he does best!

Ignoring my questions and comments while once again DEMANDING I answer still more of his.

Once again Yurt proves he's just not interested in honest debate.
