Congrats! We all belong to the government!!!

Typical left wingnut reaction.

Not sure if you have checked the polls lately. Above shows the general. Be sure to take a look at the trend in the swing states of late. Obviously we should see a bounce for Obama after his uber sensational teleprompter reading tonight... but as of right now, you are overestimating his odds of winning given the trends are almost all favoring Romney.

Romney is pulling $ out of Michigan and Pennsylvania and is pumping money into North Carolina. If he's conceding the former two states and is playing defense on the latter, he's in trouble.

Relying on polls in August is silly. A few days out from the end of this convention we ought to know who has the momentum.

Also, too, a teleprompter joke?

why is it you on the right keep wanting to pretend that this government and the people are two differing things?

Because you dont want a government of the people.
I don't know about that Evince. I completely understand their distrust of big government that is not held accountable by the people nor is respectful of individual rights. I share in that distrust. What I don't understand is their disconnect on the important role government plays in our life and how important it is that government performs it's specified role competently and efficiently. I also don't understand their disconnect on how important it is for both Government and the Private Sector (The market, corporations, entrepranuers, small businesses, etc) to collaborate together for the common good of all as a rising tide lifts all ships.

But the thing I really don't understand is why they don't have the same deep seated suspicion and distrust of large corporations many of whom would be far more ruthless, predatory and uncaring of basic human rights, if left to their own devices, than government is by far. It's just not rational to me.

they want it drowned in the bath tub.

That is why cheating in elections is acceptable to even their rabble

The real power brokers in the GOP want this government hamstringed.

They dont like democracy.

that is why they have taught their rabble that we are not a democracy.

They are trying to separate the people from their government.

They dont want them thinking of government beloning to them.

They want the people to hate and fight the government.

Then they can kill it and own the country outright.

I am not relying on the polls from August/early Sept to tell us anything other than where things stand today. Pretending otherwise is simply your feeble straw man attempt. Did you have fun knocking your straw man down?

I posted the polls to demonstrate that no one is whining about 'losing' when currently they are tied. I also pointed out (which you obviously ignored) that Obama should get a bounce from this week. I also stated clearly (which you ignored) that he was simply overestimating Obama winning when the current trends have shown incorrect. Again, that trend will likely swing again after this week.

Also, too, a teleprompter joke?

Yeah... couldn't resist...

Thanks for once again demonstrating exactly what 'we the people' do not want. We are not the government, nor is the government us. You want the government involved in everything in your life, we do not. Your party then goes batshit and proclaims that if someone doesn't want the government involved in every aspect of our lives that somehow means we don't want the government to do anything.

Man, you guys are really grasping at straws and it makes you look desperate. This claim is about as bad as saying that the President claimed people did not build there own businesses.

Extremely well put.
