Heavy rain did fall for a while in the afternoon, just about the time thousands of people would have started lining up to get into the 74,000-seat stadium.

Everyone knows what accompanies heavy rain, but seeing as how Yurt is incapable of admitting when he's wrong, above is the response I got.
The bottom line is...the forecast was right, it vindicates Obama and the DNC and proves Yurt was just blowing more diversionary smoke.

Where I'm from, heavy rain is just accompanied by more rain, showers, a steady drizzle, and then light showers on into the evening, possibly broken up by an hour of mist.

So the link you posted in your OP...which you posted FOUR DAYS BEFORE Obama's speech...says there was no lightning the last night of the DNC convention.
Did they get someone from the future to sand that bit of info back through time to last Monday so they could make that claim?
The point is, which Yurt is desperate to avoid by the way...is that inclement weather was the reason why the DNC moved things indoors, and inclement weather is exactly what they got.
Will Yurt admit as much?
Or will he just continue lying?

So the answer to my question was "YES".
YES, Yurt chose to ignore the underlying FACT that the potential for inclement weather is what caused the DNC to change the venue for Obama's speech and inclement weather is EXACTLY what they got.
