anyone know what this idjit is talking about? "Restore the military" - what? did it go away?
I'm no fan of Obama. but he isn't stupid. This just sounds like full load of hot air -am i wrong?
 
Its a headline, a talking point with no substance. Sure we need to lead in the ME. Everyone can agree with that statement.

Jarod, your post saddens and worries me. Do you understand just why people in the Middle East are attacking American embassies, burning American schools, attacking German and British embassies? Is it all about a stupid film made by an American loony?
No. The film was simply the catalyst, the final straw, the tipping point.
Now. Understand this and understand it well. Your property is being attacked because of your actual or your believed interference in Middle Eastern affairs. You invaded Iraq. You are at war in Afghanistan. You are threatening Iran.
Do you think it strange that you are disliked? Do you think it unreasonable for an arab in Egypt to feel solidarity with an arab in Palestine or in Morrocco? Do you think it unreasonable for a Muslim in Libya to feel a bond with the Muslims your country is killing in Afghanistan? Did Americans in Texas feel solidarity with Americans in New York when the planes flew into the twin towers? Do you deny those people the same feelings that you have?
That is, in no way, to condone the revolting behaviour in Benghazi or Cairo, but if you and other Americans and particularly this absolute twat Romney, cannot see what is happening then I'm sorry but you deserve everything you get and more. Even Obama doesnt get it - or he didn't yesterday when he wanted to shine America's light on the rest of the world.
The world is a big place. Many parts of the world are regularly outperforming America. They/we do not need your leadership and sure as little apples evolved they/we do not want your leadership or even your assistance.
Stay home. look after your own problems because that is the only way your country will survive.

excellent post, I just redacted some for space.
Were not all lunatics like Romney, or Obama and his wars ( though from outside the US -it appears that way).

Oue 2 party ststem ensures what we call the "duopoly" - entrenched politicians with partisian loyalty, willing to play "gotcha games" like Romney ( utterly stupid) or Obama ( warring at the drop of a hat).

Our problem is there isn't anywhere else to vote for -there are 3rd partys, and i'm going to vote Gary Johnson.
The Greens are OK, but they just won't campaign, and the are not really working for a vote.
Why I picked Johnson, a decent record, want to end all our wars ( drugs, "next war with China", etc).

There is absolutely NO reason why we shouldn't have left AfPAk when Obama took office. But we're tied down like Gulliver, with the Lillipalutions(sp?) all holding strings on Uncle Sam.

Uncle Sam ( * slang -a figure that repesents the US) could just cut each string (disengage from foreign wars), but we are in a perpetual war with AQ.
It's not going to stop AQ, but it is harming our country and our image abroad.
we have to get out of being the world's policeman, it's not needed by the world, or wanted.
