A crusade of sorts will be necessary. Now, I am by no means proposing that we should go in with our guns blazing. I suppose there are some innocent Muslims. But I do believe we will have to systematically kill off the radicals. To accomplish that goal, a combination of liquidation and education will be required.

Christianity will be defeated with reason. The only way to defeat Islam is with the sword.

Fred Phelps represent a tiny minority. The only reason a plurality of Americans believe in bullshit like a 6,000 year old earth is lack of education, not religious indoctrination. At least, that is my hope. Gotta remain optimistic.

You remain optimistic, I see the USA growing less educated by the year because of people who wish their backwards tenets to be taught as fact.

I don't know, Islam brought us out of the Dark Ages, but then the fundamentalist Muslims took the religion over and now it looks like the moderates are losing and the radicals are gaining ground. The moderate Muslim is in a fight for their religion. I see the same thing happening in the USA, the fringe is taking over, the moderates and progressives are losing ground.

I hope you are right, but currently the future doesn't look too bright.
