Yes, Grind, it happens, that is why this young woman is an activist trying to get the laws changed. Ms. Prewitt is a lawyer and here is an excellent paper she wrote on the issue. It s an eye opener, well for one it is an eye opener, for others, they will continue to deny the facts.

I still fail to see why any woman would want to bear the child of a rapist, asides from religious beliefs.

Please show me how often it's happened with convicted rapists that have been to jail. I bet it's almost NEVER.

I'm done with his knuckleheaded comments. He thinks this isn't insulting: "when you lie so often" and "she has not admitted she is wrong." He's pulled this crap for as long as I've been here and I always get sucked back in, but I'm done now.

WOW...off the street for FIVE WHOLE YEARS?

I'm sure that's a HUGE relief to the woman who got raped...she's got 5 years to come up with a good alias and hope her attacker doesn't go looking for her.

And so much for your "and when he gets out in like... 2 decades or whatever... by the time he's out the child will probably be of legal age" claim...the kid won't even be in school before the rapist is out.
