Poll: Romney inching closer to Obama in Pa.

Rationalist

Hail Voltaire
As Mitt Romney and President Obama head into their second debate Tuesday, a new Pennsylvania poll shows Romney closing the gap with the president.

The Quinnipiac University Poll shows Mr. Obama with a four-point lead. The president has 50 percent support to Romney's 46 percent. The results are a positive sign for Romney, who was down by 12 points in a September 26 Quinnipiac poll.

Even if Obama takes PA (I believe he will), the fact that it is tightening is a bad sign for Obama in other swing states. Not looking great for the President.

Don't count him out yet....Obama is still in front....

With the media lying for him, Biden lying for him, and now the debate moderators in his corner, getting out the truth
about him is tough.....
and now hes hiding behind Clintons skirts....I never thought she would take the bullit for him......

PA has not gone Republican in over 20 years. I actually think that will change,or be pretty darn close. There are alot of energy voters in PA (gas, coal, etc),many of which are not happy with Obama. They make up the more rural parts of the state. Most of Obama's support will come from the big cities, Philly, etc. Sadly, liberal judges have overturned voter ID laws, which will certainly help Obama. In the year 2012, there is NO REASON you shouldn't have a picture ID. What I don't understand is the amount of the black vote Obama will get from those big cities. If you look at the unemployment rates among black men, specifically, younger black men, the numbers are staggering....many, many unemployed young black men under Obama, yet they overwhelmingly support Obama. The reason why is pretty obvious, but still surprises me.

Please tell me one of the lies the media is teling "for" him, thanks

I don't think the media is 'lying' for him,I think they are avoiding doing anything that will hurt him. They would be ALL OVER this Libya terror attack normally, but not this close to the election.
They should ask him point blank, 'WHO TOLD YOU THAT THE ATTACK WAS OVER A YOUTUBE VIDEO?'
I would love to see who he buries. The intelligence dept has already testified that they never thought it was over a youtube video, so where did Obama & Biden come up with this info? The night of the attack, on the anniversary of the 9/11 world trade center attack,Obama left Washington and went to Vegas for a fund raiser, and also went onto post a big long aplogy for offending people with a youtube video. He basically aplogized to the people that attacked our embassy & ambassador. The only one to come out and comdemn it was Romney, and the press made a big issue of him acting prematurely, but said nothing of Obama running off to do a fundraiser. Its a joke.

And as far as the moderators of the debate, they most certainly are in Obama's corner. Martha Radeich(spelled right?) continuously cut off Ryan and cut him short on his answers, yet she allowed Biden to cut in and disturb Ryan over 80 times. She also didnt ask Biden to calm down as he made an ass of himself laughing and having a blast as they discussed important issues like a nuclear Iran.

I would bet on election day Romney doesn't get any closer than 8 points to Obama in PA.

I will take that action all day long! I smell a landslide, Romney will take it easily...300 to 238 or there abouts, and I also think he will win the popular vote too

Ok, tell me what you want to bet. Romney will lose by at least 8 points in Pennslyvania.

I live in PA and there's no way on god's green earth that there will be a Rmoney landslide. He doesn't even run ads in the state.

She didn't interrupt him 80 times, it was 18 as opposed to 15 for Obama. You'd do well to stop swallowing lies from the Faux machine.

Even if Romney doesnt really sink a ton of money or energy into PA, it still makes Obama ave to defend that state, which means Obama will have to put effort & money into it. Romney will need multiple scenarios to reach 270, so if he can put PA in play, it's worth a shot. If he was to lose Ohio, but pick up PA, it would be a wash. If Romney win EITHER PA or OH, would you agree that he will win the election?

I'm no Chuck Todd but I bet there are about zero odds that he wins PA and doesn't win Ohio. If he wins PA he's also winning Ohio would be my guess.

I agree, if he wins PA he likely wins Ohio too, but to know that he has a chance in both states has to be of comfort to him. If he does good at the debate tonight, and sees continued momentum in PA, he might make a play for it.

He is not winning PA. There's not a chance. That is a blue state.

The state has gone from Obama being up by 12, to being up by 4. Do you really think that if Romney's momentum continues, and he does good in the debates, that the trend will just suddenly stop in PA? You're foolish and dreaming if you think he won't continue to climb, even in PA.

George Bush Sr won it in 1988. GB Jr was pretty competitive there too. I think you're in denial if you don't think it will be alot closer.
