Internet troll fired from job

Michael Brutsch aka "Violentacrez," was Reddit's biggest troll.



The 49-year-old from Arlington, Texas, has been outed.



Brutsch was fired from his position at a financial services company less than 24 hours after Gawker editor Adrian Chen's exposé went live.



Before the article was published, Chen wrote that Brutsch pleaded with him not to reveal his identity, correctly fearing he would lose his job and his ability to provide for his family. "My wife is disabled. I got a home and a mortgage, and if this hits the fan, I believe this will affect negatively on my employment".

you're missing the point...he frequently 'thanks' FRS's posts to the troll. yet whines if i merely reply to one of his threads. further, there are others who engage him far more than i do. it really cracks me up how butt hurt bravo gets when i reply to the troll.

We shouldn't give him the "oxygen of publicity" as Maggie T said many years ago about the IRA.

do you still not get the point? don't you find it odd that bravo bitches and moans virtually every time i respond in one of his threads, yet, he frequently thanks FRS for responding to him.

i could care less about giving him publicity. he would post a thousand threads and posts if everyone had him on ignore. just look at how many of his threads have zero responses.

I haven't really noticed Bravo talking to the troll but then I've not really been looking, just saying that trolls hate to be ignored.

The fact is, I don't see the trolls posts and don't know who FRS is responding to...you, ass hole are the #2 post...I know who you're feeding.....
 
I think this sucks. I would never out somebody like this. I may not like what he did, but should he have lost his job over what he did after "school"?
