It appears he had reason to believe there was some sort of connection. He gave this speech a day after the incident. I really, don't see why anyone should give a god damn that he might not have had every fact straight anyway. He did not go on national TV, a full year after the report had been discredited, and lie about it to draw us into a war.
Why should I care about any of this nonsense? The whole controversy is incredibly stupid and serves no purpose but to excite a bunch of pinheads who watch too much right wing news. Romney fd up royally by speaking to these fringe lunatics and not focusing on the center. The guy who asked the question did not really get a straight answer. Romney would have been better off focusing on that. Instead he went for the stupid pinhead gotcha and.... bam! Cheney shoots him in the face!

We now know, the planned and coordinated alQaeda terrorist attacks on our Consulate and assassination of our Ambassador and three others, on the anniversary of 9/11, had absolutely NOTHING to do with any video. You want to keep repeating this meme, that's fine... beware, the people now KNOW THE TRUTH and you are making yourself look even more dishonest and out of touch. I am all for that, to be honest!
Some people pretend that people on this site are as clueless as the normal prole voter voting because some commercial has said that Oscar the Grouch may have to move in with you. To do this they try to use spin, etc. This happens with both sides, mind you... but the reality is spin like this is worthless here. We all know, even the people trying to say his mention of "acts of terror" even while he had everybody directly stating it was not an attack but a "spontaneous act" due to "protests" that were happening in and around the Consulate, which we later have found to be total and utter rubbish.
Hillary didn't send these people out to say that, that was our beloved buck-passer President.
