You said that in the last debate. It's funny how you keep lowering the bar. :p

Tell me, what is the clear difference between Mitt and Obama in Foreign policy?

So far we have: I don't want to gut military spending and I'd do still more sanctions on Iran.

Both of them will not send troops into Syria, both would have sent troops into Libya. One wishes we would have recognized that there was some people seeking freedom earlier and helped them, the other ignored that because he knows that one is right...

It's pretty much a wash between these two in that arena, this is why the debate wound up about Domestic issues. IMO, the incumbent has a HUGE advantage in Foreign policy debates. That it was largely overcome by pointing out that having Ambassadors raped and dragged through the streets in nations we "helped" overthrow a dictator in is a sign it isn't going well doesn't change that it is a HUGE advantage.

That is pure nonsense. The national debt is well over $16T, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars might make up $1T at most. Obama's 'stimulus' makes up about the same amount.

How are the innocent people doing under Obama?
A lot better than they were under Bush. Just go ask them! LOL Bush's foreign policy alienated vast numbers of people around the world and Obama has had a significant accomplishment in healing that breach. Don't believe me, go ask them and not some isolationist redneck from Bumfuck, Alabama.

Like hell it's nonsense. 75% of our national debt is attributable to Reagan, Bush 1 and BushII and half of Obama's debt was inherited from Bush's disastrous mismanagement of two wars, the fiscal crisis and the auto industry debacle. The stats also clearly show that our national economy has prospered more across the board under Democratic Presidents than under Republican.

Bullshit... you just don't care that the innocent are still being killed under Obama.

I am against the drone usage under Bush and Obama and will be, if elected, under Romney.

Look at what an unmittigated disaster George W. Bush was because of his incompetence at foreign policy. Due to it not only did over 100,000 innocent people die but it also accounts directly or indirectly for more than half of our national debt.

The above is what you stated Mutt. you said Bush directly or indirectly accounted for more than half our debt. That is what I said was nonsense. Because it is.

Now you add in eight years under Reagan, four under Bush and pretend that half of Obama's debt is due to Bush.

Reagan and Bush both had DEM Congresses. Congress controls the purse strings mutt.

Also... it is nonsense to claim half of Obama's debt is due to Bush. Obama extended the tax cuts in 2010. Obama passed the stimulus bill that failed to stimulate the economy. Obama passed the monstrosity that is Obama care. Obama has failed to get unemployment in check which results in lower revenues and higher deficits (especially when you factor in the Obama tax cuts).

As for prosperity, that again is nonsense. The nation prospered under Reagan far more than the failure that is Carter. The nation prospered under Bush and Clinton both... Bush with a Dem Congress, Clinton with a Rep Congress. The nation prospered under Bush until 2007 when the house of cards collapsed. A house whose construction began under Clinton and continued under Bush.

So, if you take last nights version of Romney he would not be a bad president.

His hawkishness and appeals to fear scare the bejesus out of me. When he wasn't trying to divert a foreign policy debate to domestic issues, he was beating the drums for confrontation in Iran.

Romney: fear fear fear fear fear fear fear fear fear fear fear fear fear fear fear fear fear fear fear fear fear fear fear fear

I dislike the fear thing, but they both do it.

I think it is against the rules to alter someone elses posts, isn't it?
I did not write that, I have no idea what a Hoekstra is. Is it some sort of foreign dish, a type of hat? I don't know.

Edit: OK I found it. it was in a cut and paste. However I still have no idea who or what he is.

Like to explain.... without your usual stupidity?

First, it is not against the rules on this board, it happens a lot...
Second, I didn't change your post, merely deleted the parts I wasn't commenting on....
Third, he's the guy you accused of roadblocking Obama's foreign policy, even though he wasn't even in Congress during Obama's administration....
Fourth, I know who he is because he was my congressman until he stepped down to run for governor against Granholm and currently is running for senator against Stabenow......
