I didn't address Dixie's logical issues or flaws because I didn't get involved in the actual debate. I think the topic of the Alabama constitution is not very interesting. Our state constitution is one of the largest, most amended constitutions in the world. They should write a new one from scratch.

I also believe that the attempt to remove the segregationist language is a waste of time and taxpayer money, since the actual segregation issue has been taken care of decades ago. Changing the language in the state constitution accomplished nothing.
