13 Americans dead. British press sympathises.

65 dead in the Carribean. British press doesn't give a shit.
 
I found out yesterday here that most didn't know any had died in Carribean. I don't think they count as deaths. Not in America. Sorry to hear it's the same there.
 
It's interesting how conspiracy theory fans have kept talking about an October surprize during this election and we ended up getting one. Sandy. It will be interesting to see what the political dimensions of Sandy will be, if any.

Don't rightwing racists wonder if the dead aren't white, why take fright? As long as they're brown, there's no need to frown.
 
global warming will effect many many poor people in this world more than it will effect countires like the US.


This storm is a precurser to what WE will be seeing.

More of these record breaking storms that will distroy crops and lives.


How I wish we could use our brains and the facts to plan our world but some seem to prefer to use the profit level of the wealthy to plan the world

Thank you low! I am good, I got very lucky. Yes, over 50 homes burned to the ground in Queens the last I heard. THat was awful.
