What is it that makes you think it frightened me? I sad the ad was pathetic. While I understand many Brits are likely afraid of pathetic things, here we are not. We are America you crazy ass limey. So go bow down to your BP masters and cower in fear at shadows.

BP, is that the best you've got? Oh by the way did you know that BP has ten drilling rigs in the Gulf now? As for the ad, the vast majority of ads are bullshit targeted at the weak minded and gullible. So what's new? In the UK, all political advertising is banned on TV. We have political broadcasts which are allocated on the basis of votes cast at the last election and have to carried free by all the networks. No doubt that smacks of dangerous socialism to you!!

I think it goes to show the desperation of the Obama campaign. These are not the actions of a campaign that thinks things are going its way. When I predict a Romney landslide it is not based on one data point. It is based on multiple factors. Polls are a part, but then it is things like this, the "vote like your lady parts depend on it" and "voting for obama is like losing your virginity" and sending Biden to PA and Clinton to MN and buying ad time in Michigan. Now you can say it all don't matter, but nothing in politics happens by accident.

I am as convinced today that there will be a Romney landslide than I ever have been.

I think many agree, but they just want to say publicly right now for fear of being wrong. But, I can see it anecdotally as well. I have very good friends who were orgasmic over Obama in 2008. They couldn't wait to go to events to see him. They couldn't wait to vote. They KNEW he was going to win. Fast forward to today and you have those same supporters who when asked me who I thought would win and I told them said "I hope you are wrong". No magnets on their cars, no yard signs. Again, this is anecdotal so take it for what it is worth, but I have a hard time believing that their feelings are isolated.

Lastly, people are under the belief that Obama can recreate his massive turnout from 2008. But based on what? Are we to pretend 2010 didn't happen? Are we to pretend that Scott Walker didn't beat back the union thugs in Wisconsin? Are we to believe that all that intensity up to 2010 is now gone on the GOP side?

If I am wrong, I will be eating major crow and I know that. But, I know I am not wrong. This election will be over early on Tuesday night. You can take that to whichever bailed out bank you want to.

(1) This isn't an Obama campaign ad.

(2) What desperate campaigns do is run ads that have been exposed as dishonest unannounced in the hopes that the media doesn't pick up on the fact that the campaign is running dishonest ads. That's what the Romney camp has resorted to with the Jeep and Welfare ads in swing states. Reeks of desperation.

SF, although I found this ad offensive, I know Seniors who do speak this way. They are not all sweat little old ladies and gents. The Pioneer home where I occasionally volunteered and use to entertain at with my singing group had a few "lively" Seniors.

Did Chevron Toxico pay the $18 billion fine imposed by the Ecuadorian government for polluting the Amazonian jungle? Shouldn't you, being a balanced and fair chap, be insisting that they pay their dues?

I did watch the ad, yes it's over the top but then the whole circus is obscene in my opinion. . Our elections last a month and the political parties have many restrictions on them, to stop corruption and graft.
