Here is the third post on this thread, before Rana said a word. Damo you are the one who brought up the hurricane and mocked it - not her, not me.

Now you are babbling and not even making sense, but sorry, it's all here in black and white for anyone to see.

You can't get out of it. It wasn't rana who came on here and said "you can't talk about BenghazI you have to talk about the hurricane!" which is what you are now claiming.

It was YOU. And she responded to your disgusting remark that was made on this thread. YOU Are the one who brought it here. What nonsense.

You came in here all self-important trying to chastise others for speaking about something that you deemed "unimportant", however threads with actual frivolous topics are left alone. You are simply trying to use what I call a "conversation stopper" to try to get people from talking about something that may detract from a guy you want to win an election.

The "used to be a better person" stuff, that's just normal for that kind of post. Again, if all you want to talk about is the storm, there are threads for that. I'll join you there and won't bring up Benghazi at all, I'll commiserate, talk about the individual tragic moments, and compassionate as I can. I'll donate time and money to help out, but I'll also talk about Benghazi and the failures of the current CIC to protect the US. I'll talk about a man who is in jail for making a movie trailer that didn't cause any attack in Benghazi, a political prisoner here in the US. I'll do it proudly and without qualms and I'll point out with disgust those who will try to use one tragedy to distract from another for partisan political purposes.

I won't invade a thread about one tragedy to try to press one that I prefer you talk about because that one "hurts" my candidate. And I especially won't try to tell you that you are a bad person for being able to encompass both.

I took issue with your mocking of the hurricane in the northeast as a little rain. A quote you got directly from SF.

This is because Damo is in what laymen call "full blown campaign mode." It allows those afflicted with it to marginalize one of the worst disasters in recent history - something that is literally causing suffering for millions - into something like a "light rain," as long as it helps whoever they want to win.

He'll be better around this time next week.

This is because "somebody" is in full campaign mode, it makes them try to dismiss one tragedy that may reflect negatively on their candidate, and to use another as a bludgeon in a guise of "morality" that is both false and misapplied. Now, if Obama were running for "head of FEMA" I may think that we shouldn't reflect on any of his other responsibilities, but since he isn't I'll continue to ignore attempts at conversation stoppers.
