PA called for Obama!
You're ahead of me. About to hit the vodka shortly.
I was in shock? How could this have happened? Who could have predicted?
This marks two Presidential elections on JPP alone, R's were insisting they could win PA (this time around they insisted they would win it) and I told them forget it.
I'm not going to be on JPP to tell them four years from now.
Lol. Voltaire must be peeing himself about now. The poll workers told me there was about 4 times the turn out they expected. Dems are doing well here all over the state. And congrats on NY!
christie what state are you in?
been checking florida counties (just checked 4 with results mostly in > 75%) romney seems to be trending 3-5% higher than mccain and obama is down about 3% across the board in my unscientific snapshot of various countries (i included marion, alachua, liberty, leon)
the 3-4% improvement seems to be consistent across the countries I've been looking at. I looked at 2 liberal counties and two conservative ones. take it however you want
Obama's leading in a couple of bellweather counties:
"In every presidential election since 1960, the candidate who prevailed in Florida’s Hillsborough County, home to Tampa, has also prevailed in Florida. There is no guarantee that the pattern will hold in 2012, but the Tampa region is critical in carrying the Sunshine State (which is why the Republican Party held their national convention there this year).
More than 80 percent of the vote has been reported in Hillsborough, and President Obama leads Mitt Romney by five percentage points. Mr. Obama, as we have written, is likely getting a push from Florida’s fast-growing Hispanic community. In Hillsborough, Hispanic residents have grown by 71 percent since 2000, now accounting for a quarter of the county’s population.
Mr. Obama is also leading in another Florida bellwether, Pinellas County, Hillsborough County’s western neighbor. In Pinellas, 99 percent of the vote has been reported, and Mr. Obama is edging out Mr. Romney 52 percent to 47 percent." - Nate Silver
Pussy morph wouldn't bet me.
merge mine with yours, thanks
Looks like I was monumentally wrong. Definitely not a landslide for Romney. I guess the country has turned into more takers than makers.
And wha about that morph guy? Whatever his name is? He was all over here saying Romney was going to win PA.
Still, I won't celebrate until they call Ohio. If this thing comes down to Florida I will kill myself - 81% of the vote in and it's tied 50-50. I do not want to relive 2000.
Quitter!
