New Respect for Condalizza

It is hard to credit how abortion is still so rife in these days of contraceptive patches, vaginal rings, intrauterine systems (IUS) and contraceptive implants which offer long-term contraception that is virtually hassle-free for months, years or forever. It is also politically incorrect apparently to point out that over 35% of all abortions are performed on black women, so it's plainly obvious that many of those are just an extreme form of birth control.

I hate to say, but I pretty much agree.

It isn't so difficult to understand if you look at facts. Women make less money and birth control is expensive. Add to that that the right has spent a decade dismantling reproductive healthcare (planned parenthood) across the country and sex education in our schools. Wow...what a surprise our unwanted pregnancy rates have risen in response! Whodathunkit?! Those rascally wimens!! What will they think of next?!?!

That is part of the story I'm sure, but I can't see how that explains a rate that is five times that of white women. Hispanic women are also likely to be poor yet the rate of abortion is only twice that of white women.

You make no sense. If appearances were all that mattered then why didn't the GOP nominate Herman Cain? Why didn't they nominate Condi this time?

Tell you what, I think the GOP should refrain from taking advice from people like you. As if you have their best interests at heart. It is quite humorous to watch actually

They didn't nominate Cain because he self-destructed months before the convention.

1. Is this question about abortion? I am pro-choice. I would prefer to vote for a pro-choice candidate. When it comes to issues that I vote on abortion is not at the top of the list.

2. Sure a platform can be misogynistic and have a woman run. It reminds me of the great Chris Rock line when speaking about his Uncle B, "hates white people, married a white woman".

3. No. Do I think there are people of color who are lazy welfare queens? Yes. Do I think there are white people who are lazy welfare queens? Yes.

4. Should colored people have the rights as whites? Yes.

5. Should colored people have the same rights as working people? Not understanding that question.

6. Sure a platform can be racist and people who the racism is targeted at can speak positively of it.

And, there are white people and people of color who are lazy welfare KINGS.

Good thing there are plenty of ready-made little posters for thems who lack creativity, right needle-dick?
