The GOP won the house

yes they are. where does our republic say that representatives are only valid if ONE party wins the overall popular vote?

I never mentioned the loaded term "republic", which is typically used by conservatives in a wishy-washy way that basically means nothing other than "a government that does whatever conservatives want no matter what the people think". Overall, the Democrats are the choice of the American people, not the Republicans, and the Republicans only hold the position they do because they abused a flawed electoral system to their advantage.

Really, by using the bullshit term "republic" in that bullshit sense, you unwittingly concede to me my point: the Republicans have no democratic legitimacy. They don't believe in democracy, they believe that they should be able to do whatever they want, and that's that. It's frightening to see a party in power that has such a strong anti-democratic streak. The voters didn't choose the Republicans, the Republicans chose their voters.

wow...you are being serious. the house is not about winning the overall popular vote retard. if you think the republic is bullshit, then go ahead and try to change the constitution. thank god you're in the minority and more intelligent and level headed people are in control.
