I am oh so fascinated, really from a strategic standpoint, to see how the fiscal cliff works out. Obama certainly has the strong hand (and having a mandate has nothing to do with that). My guess, as when Republicans shut down the government back in the 90's that if Obama holds strong and we go past the deadline that the political blow back will be in Republicans direction. The big tell will be if Repubs agree to any concessions on raising taxes on long term capital gains. Then you'll know Obama has them by the balls.
