Watch CA implode...

I can't take the heat (or humidity). San Francisco is perfect climate for me.
It cost more cause its better
Ritz Carlton vs motel 8
Not that super tool doesn't like him some motel 8 after fleecing some blue haired grannies with his junk finance.

My niece is so much tougher than you.

My male ego wants me to step up and take on your niece but I can't. I have to face reality that I'm a raging v*gina. I lived in Dallas as a kid and that heat used to kill me. I was back in Dallas this past August and walking from the apartment to the car the heat almost knocked me out in 30 seconds. I am a straight b*tch. NYC in the summer? Just bury me. Southern summer humidity? I wouldn't even make it off the plane.

Weather wise, San Francisco and I agree to very much agree.

I wonder what the reaction will be for those companies. For those that are simply service companies or are just selling product, they will likely continue doing so as long as it is profitable. For those that may be looking to manufacture... think they will expand anytime soon into CA?

Liberals will now be able to test their 'tax tax tax so we can spend spend spend' plan to their hearts desire. We shall see how well CA does.

On a side note... they gave those super poor bastards in Hollywood more subsidies at the expense of the working class.

So, when they VOTE to ban gay marriage, it's the peoples' VOICE.... ??

But when they VOTE to raise taxes to pay their bills... it's those ba-aaad liberals...!!!

You fuckers need to make up your mind.

Personally, I think the CA ballot measure system is broken. A direct democracy is too easily manipulated, as seen by Prop 8. However, in matters of fiscal responsibility and accountability, a well written and thoughtful ballet measure can yield positive results.

Prop 30 creates new tax brackets for the wealthy AND raises the state stales tax. So all both the consumer/working/middle class AND the upper class will contribute -- consumers contribute through spending, the wealthy contribute though earning -- in this case, the VOTE seems like a state taking responsibility for it's own deficits.

As far as CA going bust -- California's agricultural abundance includes more than 400 commodities. The state produces nearly half of U.S.–grown fruits, nuts and vegetables. Across the nation, U.S. consumers regularly purchase several crops produced solely in California.

If you want to talk about how much revenue is generated by the film industry... well, there you have it. There's a reason why CA gets 9.8% of the electoral votes. The state is just that damn important.

LOL

I love San Francisco. Actually I am taking a vacation in February and that is one of the places I am considering. I want to go to an Island and just really relax relax relax, but he is not really a beach person, so we are thinking of compromising on San Francisco. I might do a long weekend on a island with a gf too though.

Super tool is supposed to be a finance expert. He didn't even know Cali per capita GDP was higher than Texas.
Thus my he sells pigs with lipstick to grannies.

LMAO... like any climate, it takes getting used to. I have lived in Houston... most god awful summers on the planet and in Wisconsin, such lovely winters. I am not a fan of humidity, so I love it here. Humidity makes cold feel colder and heat hotter. Bunch of dumbass sea dwellers. That said, I do love San Fran, Seattle and pretty much in between (really like Eugene, OR area).

Dude, well over 50% of the California budget is determined by past propositions measures. As bad as our politicians have been in terms of balancing the budget the voters have contributed just as much to the state's disfunction. Read the LA Times article I linked to if you want a clear picture of what's CA's finances look like and why our state is constantly on the fiscal cliff.

Actually I did... I also knew that it has fallen while TX has risen. I also know that CA is losing jobs, TX is gaining them. I also know that CA is losing higher net worth people and gaining welfare staters. Did you?

Seattle is beautiful maybe three months out of the year but I couldn't take the constant gloom and rain. That is just depressing. And I understand that if you live in an area you pretty much have no choice but to adapt to its weather but as long as I have a choice I'm staying where I am. And yeah, I couldn't imagine a summer in Houston.

Ripping on Cawacko days are some of my favorites so I'm in! And there is no way I'm bringing the wife. It's bad enough everyone I know thinks I'm crazy. She doesn't need to know people I've never met online think of me the same way too!
