This seriously disturbs me. I would like to know, what is wrong with you people??? Conservatism is a mental disease, I can see that. Apparently there is no cure.

How did the investigation into Petraeus begin? A right wing FBI agent hoping to "get" President Obama, that's how. Sounds like Lois Freeh all over again. These people don't care about America - they hate America. This is disgusting, a fucking disgrace.

While investigating these "threats" (and now that this new info has come to light, I want to see these "threat", these "threats" that were so horrific the FBI felt the need to open an apparently very wide investigation into email accounts of various high-level figures), the FBI stumbled upon General Allen's emails with a woman who is not his wife. What do these emails have to do with the Patraeus investigation? No one can yet say. Did this woman have access to General Allen's top-secret emails? There is zero indication of this.

I could go on all day about how this makes our country look - disgracing General Allen like this. And about the right wing scum who will merrily flush their country down the toilet while our enemies laugh at us, in order to "git" the President of the United States as long as said President is a Democrat. Scum. Anti-American scum.

But there is a structural problem which allowed this to happen here and that is this goddamned bullshit about adultery being a crime in the military. There is zero excuse for that and it has to go.

Today, the United States of America is a laughing stock all over the world thanks to right wing scum who hate their country, and antiquated prudish military codes that belong in another century and I don't mean the last one either.

In the meantime - congratulations righties! You really "got" president obama by taking down the head of the CIA who was for years considered a likely REPUBLICAN Presidential candidate, and out top military commander in Afghanistan. If by President Obama you mean you really "got" America.

I'm thinking the big story here is how can the director of the CIA be so stupid as to get caught!!

The FBI were responding to a complaint by the piece of tail petraeus was tapping(in the sexual sense, not the CIA sense)!
I can't see why it's a biggie, lets be honest, his wife is a pig, he showed good judgement in his decision to have the affair combined with extreme stupidity for getting caught.

Interesting how he was discredited by this story before he gave evidence in Benghazi gate investigations!

My own little theory, you have yours, I have mine, get over it!

I find it amusing that the right-wingers with their vivid imaginations about Obama generally fail to see how it is possible that an FBI agent (who sent shirtless pictures of himself to Ms. Kelley) who was kicked off the case and then "blew the whistle" on an ongoing investigation to the House Majority leader (but not one else?) because he thought it was being covered up to protect Obama (from what?) can't fathom how this fellow may have had a desire to bring down Obama.

Also, too, I find is generally fucked up that the FBI accessed and read tens of thousands of emails because of a lovers' spat. It's pretty fucked up. I mean, either the emails were themselves threats or they weren't. What's the justification for trolling through the emails?
 
Stepping away from the democrat v republican noise .. could it be that this agent was using this information to expose something beyond Patreaus, albeit for his own purposes?

Hopefully, now that the election is over we can have more honest conversations.

Regardless of how anyone voted, BenghaziGate is a problem, and it is not a right-wing conspiracy.

Even Feinstein wants to get to the bottom of it.

Feinstein is a tool of the MIC and a joke to me. As far as Benghazi goes as soon as I read about it I smelled CIA and I haven't smelled anything since then. But it has nothing to do with this. It was a CIA bullshit thing, a lot of people like to kill CIA agents, and many of them have good reason for it. Not news to me.

These "emails" were unsent....the General and his lady friend would post the messages on email accounts and then access each others account to read them
They never actually sent them....

You think that doesn't cause some suspision ?

I agree with you, it does have CIA all over it. That's a problem .. and I believe it's the problem behind the entire Benghazi story which has yet to be explained and won't go away.

I also see the hand of the MIC in all of this .. which is why it's more than a bit curious that Feinstein is the most demanding of a full investigation of the democratic side.

There is much more to this than meets the eye .. and it ain't going away soon.

You shouldn't confuse DiFi demanding a full investigation into the matter with DiFi conducting a full investigation into the matter, revealing the findings publicly and taking appropriate oversight actions in response. Hell, she's head of the Senate Intelligence Committee. If she wanted to know what the CIA was doing in Benghazi she would have known. This after-the-fact window dressing isn't a substitute for actual oversight and color me skeptical on DIFi's intentions.
