the white vote in the south

Happy Thanksgiving btw! I have so much to do I won't be here for most of the week. I already feel tired thinking about it. Then I have to start Christmas cookie baking already, and then shopping. Every year I say that next year I am going to fly to an Island for the holidays. I don't know why I always forget to do that.

I hope everyone has a beautiful Thanksgiving and manages to give a moment's thought to those who have nothing, and to peace.

:)

Also regarding that Mississippi number, which is shocking and it's interesting to me that all of the Desh-bashers on this thread kept silent about it. Perhaps one or two of you even used Desh-bashing to distract from that number.

It reminds me of something BAC said years ago that I never forgot. He said that he will drive many hours out of his way to avoid driving through Mississippi. Think about that while you are bashing Desh and maybe give a thought to why that is.

The republican party has been saying racist things all through this campaign.

You will deny it but that does not make it untrue.

Racists always say that racist things are not racist

These numbers came from exit polls. As we know from the past exit polls have been shown to be wrong. That doesn't mean these numbers are necessarily wrong but I don't assume them to be proven factual numbers.

That aside, Desh posted these numbers for a reason and that's because she thinks it proves white Republicans are racist. Even someone who went to school where Superfreak did can figure out what her M.O. was. Desh also wants a response. Look at her comments on the housing thread she started when no one responded. She went nuts herself.

I know tone is hard to detect on many posts. I know for me there have been posts I've made where I've literally been seething and I'm shaking as I'm typing because I've been so mad (not proud to say that but it is a fact). And others times I'm laughing and having fun. I can only speak for myself but I found this thread quite funny because it was so transparent.

Exit polls are used world wide as the number one indication of election tampering.

why is that now not the case here?

Because the repoublican party had to trash the number one indicator of election fraud to hide their elections fraud that was detected by exit polls.

Your partys ability to cheat this way is no longer obtainable for your party which is why you dont win elections anymore.

So Desh you're going to claim 90% of white folk voting Republican in Mississippi is racism but 90% of black folk in Mississippi voting Democratic isn't. Why don't you at least augment your claim with some additional data? If white people in Mississippi vote 40%-50% for Al Gore and John Kerry and then only 10% for Obama then that would definitely bolster your argument. If white people in Mississippi vote Republican at a 80%-90% clip regardless of who the opponent is how are you going to claim that racist this time?

heres the deal YOU dont get to decide what insults black people or not.

Yet you fools jsut keep rambling on about pretending you get to decide what insults black people or not.

That IS racism.

Racism is what black people tell you it is.

You dont trust black people to be honest about what insults them.

You think black people will USE this issue to soak you of something.

Guess what that makes you?

a fucking racist

I don't understand the mindless hate being spewed on this thread. All Desh did was post linked facts. Can anyone dispute any of the above numbers? These numbers have driven at least six people here bat shit sideways.

Can you dispute them? If not, they are facts. Mindlessly striking out at Desh won't change them.

It's really interesting reading this thread because she posted facts, and people went batshit. Looks like a lot of nerves got whacked. Talk about protesting too much eh?

Not surprising that Darla again misses the FACT that it is Desh spewing the hatred. It is DESH labeling people as racists. Again, perhaps Darla the deranged will answer where as Desh runs away, what was the percentage of black people that voted for Romney by state?

You people label yourselves as racists by supporting a party that uses it to collect voters.

To deny that the tacitics used by the republican party are racist is pure bullshit.

Ask the VAST majority of black people.

They and I agree your party uses racism to get racist to vote for your party.

You deny it by saying shit like "Oh those black people are JUST SAYING its racist to say this or that becuase they are liars who want to harm the republican party"

That is how you and your party defend this racism.

By denying that VAST majority of black people are insulted by your tactics and are just lying about it.

That right there is racism you fucking fool

Exit polls have been shown to be quite accurate in the past though. In fact, they have been used to track election fraud in other countries. Not in America of course when the election polling conflicted with the 2000 outcome. That doesn't mean they were wrong though.

Even so, let's say they're wrong. How wrong? 10% of white voters in Mississippi voted for Obama according to exit polls. Just how wrong is that number? How wrong would it have to be to even begin to make that number look like something that WASN'T greatly affected by racial animus?

I think you're taking this way too personally. NO one is saying you are a racist, and if Desh did say that, she is wrong about that. You're not. But on this very board Razor, Bravo, Alias, SJ, are all racists, openly so. There are at least five others, in fact, more, who are subtly racist, but definitely racist. Do you really believe that racisim had nothing to do with their vote against Obama? With their hatred for him? Come on, stop now.

It seems to me that you, WB, Sf, and many others here demand, demand, that no one mention that hey, there are a lot of fucking racists! And guess what? Yeah, it affects how they vote.

I see a lot of white Republican voters who become infuriated anytime a liberal mentions racism in their party, or on the part of Republican voters. Desh linked to an article that has some very, very, eyebrow-raising polling data. And that's all she did. You guys got really defensive over it. I think it's because many of you know there are many racists in your party. Or in WB's case, region. There are racists here too. I can't tell you how many people I know and have known who supported HIllary (and I don't mean PUMA's, I mean white men too, not PUMA's, who I don't even think really exist for the most part) and who will support her if she runs in 2016. They lean Democratic.

They have not cast one vote for Obama and have nothing good to say about him. Now someone can say oh it's because he's a socialist, but that's factually wrong. It's not opinion. It's factually wrong. Or someone can say it's because of this or that. But let's be real. Come on, let's just be real. I know they're fucking racists. I am not defensive about it because they vote Democrat often, or because they live in NY, or because we're both white. I think they're assholes. I'm not sensitive about it.

LMAO... more typical bullshit from Darla.

No one is demanding that people not talk about racism. But that is not what is happening here. Desh is pretending that because some exit poll showed some Southern states had 'white' people vote in small percentages for Obama that it 'proved' those people were racists.

The very fact that she (and you) are too ignorant to realize that in the South you also find more conservatives, more evangelicals etc... that maybe, just maybe they voted against Obama because they disagree with how liberal his POLICIES are.

But you can't do that can you Darla? You and Desh just lump them all in the racist category and pretend that is the only reason that white people in the south might vote against Obama.

"Im not racist against black people they are all just liars and pretend Im not treating them right when I call them lazy and shiftless and want handouts for nothing"

who the FUCK is stupid enough to buy that arguement?

What was the percentage of black voters for Romney again? Are they all racist Darla? Or do you think it may be that Obama's policies were more in line with their beliefs than Romney?

Darlas not on line.

your sacred of me huh?

Dear moron... I was responding to posts that were on this thread. I was not on line when Darla was responding either.

When you say something intelligent, then I will address it. as of right now you are just spewing more of your hatred. You have proven yourself to be a fucking moron yet again.

Also moron... the word is scared.

"Im not racist against black people they are all just liars and pretend Im not treating them right when I call them lazy and shiftless and want handouts for nothing"

who the FUCK is stupid enough to buy that arguement?

Who is stupid enough to believe that anybody with a brain said that?

didnt you just read my posts?

When a black person tells you something you just said offends them do you call them a liar?

Desh, the only one here rambling is you. If you would actually pay attention to what others say about themselves on this board you might learn a little bit about them and their backgrounds and experiences and where they are coming from. And with that information you can have different conversations with different people instead of lumping everyone into one group and trying to label them all. It's a little Dale Carnegie 101.
