Bernie is absolutely right!

He said absolutely nothing there other than raise taxes on the rich. It was a great locker room speech to fire up the base that's it.

We can't balance the budget on the rich, either. Even if we were to take every dime from rich people, it wouldn't fund government for a single year. So, obviously we're going to need to make some adjustments elsewhere. Here's a bold idea: allow all the Bush tax cuts to expire, as well as the President's payroll tax cut. Then, start working on fundamental tax reform that would simplify the code while ensuring it remains progressive. Lastly, cut all spending by 1% each year until the budget is balanced. I don't think it would be all that difficult to balance the budget, if only Republicans and Democrats were willing to come together and compromise.

He lied yet again about the imaginary surplus of Bill Clinton. There was not an actual surplus. Sanders is lying.

He also misleads with regards to the tax cuts. Two thirds went to the lower and middle income families. Yet he pretends it was for the rich.

We get it. Dems hate those that are successful and wish to punish their success with higher taxation to justify the out of control spending of Congress.
