Did someone say that Congress voted to "invade Iraq"?

I never stop being amazed by that stuff. I swear, in about 5 years time, they'll be saying that Bush fought tooth & nail to keep us from invading, but that the Democrats pushed forward anyway...
 
I voted for Obama over H. Clinton because he said at the time he would have voted no.

If you Authorize someone to do something, you make it permissible, not required. The person authorized is still free to not take action.

Bush even classified himself as "the decider."

The day of the resolution, so many congressmen & women talked about "only if absolutely necessary," and talked about things like selective airstrikes even if it came to that.

Somehow, to Bush apologists, this becomes "they voted to invade!"

"0 American lives lost" was your qualifier....that was what you say is relevant....

Its hard to converse with guys like you that don't know what they're talking about....or just deny what they say.....

Bush asked for input from congress, and a resolution was PASSED with Democrat support and hes the guy you pinheads bitch about....
