I have to buy myself that damn vaper you gave me. I did order one from Amazon actually, and it never got delivered, and I got a credit, and then never reordered. I'm so lazy.

Taste, my friend. You can't taste the smoke with a vape. Sure the effect matters most but taste is very important to a lot of smokers.

Oh really, that's interesting. It's not to me at all, so I definitely should try the vaping. I am all about the effect, not the taste.
 
look if I take a few hits of marijuana I am going to get high. I can have a beer and basically feel nothing. Sometimes a good beer just pairs well with whatever you are eating. It's not rationalization. Beer and mead was the staple drink for thousands of years in human history because we didn't have clean water... drinking beer with food is to be human. It's not always about getting drunk or buzzed.

I think you guys are coming at this from the angle of drinking a rolling rock or budweiser or something. Yeah you probably can't imagine enjoying that on any level other than being drunk. But there are really some fucking awesome elite beers and microbrews out there that taste fucking awesome, and you don't have to drink them to get drunk... in fact when I am getting drunk I stay away from good tasting beers after I am 2-3 beers in because it would be a waste and not appreciated.

I think it's pretty ridiculous to stipulate that you can ONLY drink beer for purposes of getting drunk. That's just retarded.

You are probably spoiled by having great tasting weed all the time. Don't get me wrong, I go by effect as well, but a lot of my friends comment on the taste as if it were a big deal.
 
Hmm, interesting, I never think it tastes good. I don't think it tastes bad, I actually just don't think about the taste. I am going to next time I smoke though.

To each his own grind. That is the beauty. Diesels do have awesome taste though, especialy the citrus versions (including sour). The thing is, remarkably enough, the vast majority of the time, if the weed tastes good, the buzz is good. Except for Debbie's xxxx weed. that shit was nasty but the high was unreal.

See I don't have access to that kind of stuff. My dealer has two kinds - the cheap one, and the "exotic" weed which is the one I buy. It's very good. It's not great. I have another guy who probably has a much wider choice (and some of the best weed I have smoked, def worth the price), and I could try some of this stuff you are talking about, but I never call him because he's far away. 45 mins. Maybe I should though. I may.

As far as I know diesels were developed in your town. I imagine they are still prevalent there. I have some friends out in the Hamptons (actually Sag Harbor) I could hook you up with, but I am sure that is way too long of a ride as well.

Maybe, but I was not afraid of what it would do to me. I have never bought into that reefer madness nonsense even with harder drugs like acid or shrooms. I am not that open to suggestion.

It does not matter whether you "feel" it or not. It still has an effect.

There is elite weed out there too. They even have marijuana flavored candies. Obviously, some people enjoy the taste but there is no point in rationalizing your use.

I am not saying you drink to get shit faced but if it were not about the effects of alcohol then you would likely be drinking something without alcohol. Alcohol is an acquired taste for most and most of us come to like it due to the association with the high.
