funny how the title of the article indicates the US as a whole, but within the article we find out they mean the lower 48 states. Alaska (which shockingly was cooler and wetter) was not included in the 'warmest year ever recorded for US'. Shocking.
Compared to what? Given the earth is hundreds of years old, don't you think it is a tad but presumptuous to think we can control the weather?
