I can think of a few on this board alone.

We've heard a similar argument before right on JPP. "You can't control racist thought, you can only punish criminal racist behaviour." We know most racists are all talk but Grind refuses to accept that can be the case for any group, including Muslims.

Also, you can substitute any number of words for racist, such as pedophile, murder, adultery, etc. It's the human condition to have dark and angry thoughts but the vast majority don't act on them.

Okay. Your point is "20% of all muslims believe in death for merely leaving their faith." My refutation is "80% of all Muslims are against the death penalty merely for leaving their faith."

Nobody knows what you're asking here and I don't think you know, either. We all condemn the thought that people should be put to death for leaving their faith. What do you expect us to do about people's thoughts?

When you examine the teachings of Christianity and Armageddon, and look at how many Christians are looking forward, I mean they truly cant wait for the revenge of the Rapture and the bloody battle they believe Jesus will wage against all sinners, how is that different from what Muslims believe? Or Christians who believe natural disasters are the act of God against sinners?

I see both religions as having a percentage of followers who believe people are punished or will be for not believing the way that they do!

No, Christie and I, along with other enlightened people of this planet know that to bring positive change to a culture one most understand it and know fact from fiction. When dealing with people in my life, if I come at them with prejudices and misinformation, they are not going to be willing to work with me. If I come with an attitude and willingness to understand their positions, then we have a mutual respect and understanding which creates a better atmosphere in which to conduct business.

They is much information circulating in the West about Islam that are just plain wrong, you can not start a meaningful dialogue with someone if you don't have the facts and you paint everyone with the same broad brush.

Pointing out misinformation about the religion of Islam and the Muslim people is not supporting it, it is just a matter of educating people who have wrong information, once you have he correct information then the true exchange of ideas begins.

Education and change from within are how these societies will change, just like ours did!

Muslim countries haven't had the resources or the technology to get into industrial scale warfare practised by other countries in the past. I suppose the Iraq-Iran war was the first where Muslims killed each other in great numbers. Of course if you want to compare religions then Communism definitely wins out over all others. Stalin, Mao, Kim Il Sung and Pol Pot caused up to 100 million deaths making the likes of Hitler look like rank amateurs.

The one thing I'll say about Islam is that it's presence on the Earth has been the biggest driving force behind the recovery and eventual dominance and greatness of the West. By attacking us, it helped pull us out of the Dark Age. The attacks in France helped unite the kingdom and spur on the Carolingian Renaissance. The Crusades helped lead to the scholastics and eventually the Italian Renaissance. By sacking Constantinople, it forced the development of oceanic travel and exploration. You can really follow the West's need to defend itself with the development of science, technology, and government.

Yes I think that Communism to survive has to use all means necessary especially in the early days of a revolution. Do you think it is a coincidence that monsters like Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Kim Il Sung, Hoxha, Ceaușescu and Gaddafi rose to the top?

Yes, it specifically calls for violence in order to be implemented, as no sane, decent society would just institute it willingly.
