Can we assume that global cooling is now underway?

Can't we do a little better than this? This is like an AGW guy pointing out that it's really hot outside during the summer.

extreme weather changes are a part of the warming which brings a change in tides, which brings a change the weather. Alaska's fishing industry had a bad year as a result of these changes.

There is no question that weather patterns are changing, and that we're seeing more extremes.

What's funny is that most of the non-AGW crowd generally concedes that point; the crux of the issue centers around what is causing it.

But still, they can't resist threads like this one, because our global climate is such a hilarious joke.

or like someone pointing to an article/report about the contiguous 48 states in the US having the warmest year on record as evidence man made global warming?

No, it is the AGW fear mongers that are the joke. They continually harp on the climate changing as if that is evidence man is causing it.

They point to the 'there be more storms' line and say 'see... man is the reason'. Yet they tend to offer little if anything to support their claims.

It didn't stop the usual suspects stating categorically that the New York storm must be due to AGW.
