how can corporations take from the poor, when the poor don't have anything to take?

People give their money to corporations. Corporations are the leaders of industry, they help make the world a better place.

The takers actually will threaten you with jailtime if you don't hand over your money. They commit acts of violence on the makers every single day. It's so common you don't even realize it.

This isn't even a debate, the poor produce nothing of value. All they do is consume and take.

WOW. I absolutely love this post!

"How can corporations take from the poor" are you seriously this ......................................optimistic *holds other words*.

And once again; your response has nothing to do with what was being addressed in my post.

It has everything to do with what you addressed.

Poor people who are just trying to survive. Or the Corporations who are constantly hoarding great amounts of wealth for their own benefit.

The hippies and their influence have resulted in a more civil civilization. For starters they were instrumental in bringing a war (needless slaughter) to an end. They brought the other half of the population (women) fully into society. They did things for others, not just themselves. They were gathering and protesting and fighting for a more civil society. From laws and regulations to social programs their efforts were in contrast to the people who spent their day trying to figure out ways to cheat their neighbor out of a dollar. They were, in every sense, soldiers. Soldiers of peace spending a lifetime fighting for a cause. Society’s cause. A more civil civilization.

While many changes have come about the battle still rages as witnessed by the ObamaCare opponents. But like any battle fought for the right reasons the hippies are winning. Perhaps the question should be, “What contribution have you made towards society?”

The conservitives seem to think that the money that they used to pay their taxes still belong to them. It does not. That is the price of doing business in the U.S.

Says who? That's your own theory. My definition of a taker is meant quite literally, it is anyone that takes. If you want to take more money via taxes, you are a taker. If you are a gun grabber, you are a taker. Ethnicity has nothing to do with it. Plenty of white liberals are takers as well. It's a matter of philosophy.

No, the answer is not pretty clear. Why do plenty of white people vote for obama as well? Maybe they wish not to take for themselves but instead take on behalf of others. You don't have to be completely full of self-interest to be a taker, you can fully wish to take money and give it to others (instead of yourself) and still be a taker.

Secondly, you assume the only reason one would vote for obama are fiscal reasons. There are plenty of social issues you are completely negating as far as the decision process to vote is concerned, and these issues might not even involve taking (immigration, gay marriage, drug war, lack of religiosity, etc)

your entire premise is false. I just proved you are full of shit.
Yea well there's a word you need in your new vocabulary. "Moocher". That's someone who doesn't think they should pay taxes but drives on the roads we pay for, uses the hospitals we pay for, drink the clean water we pay for, sends their kids to school we pay for, expects their home protected by police and firemen we pay for, etc.

You can keep saying it does or did; but your response has nothing to do with what I addressed in my previous post. :D

But you don't work and probably never have.
I see you're still upset that your commune kicked your lazy ass out.
