As President Obama begins his second term, he is facing an increasingly pessimistic public who believes that America's best days are behind them.

According to a recently released Gallup poll, 39 percent of Americans rated the current climate of the country as positive. That's about the same as it was in 2010 -- and has been the lowest recorded by Gallup since President Jimmy Carter's term in 1979.

no, they just understand the reality of obama's ideas and policies and don't blindly worship him like democrats do

though, in all fairness, if the president was a pub, the breakdown would likely flip

This is what the administration wants, so they can then push more big Government down on us, and get more people dependent on the Gov.

So let me get this straight. You think the Obama administration wants to make people unhappy as a means of attaining an enlarged welfare state? You've got some screws loose, bud.

It seems they are blaming Congress, not the President.

Not surprising.

i love how dems are quick to point to congress when a dem is in the WH

Numbers are numbers.

President Obama was reciently reelected, which is more than I can say for many that were in the house... Allen West!

Who said he wants to make people (that is ALL people) unhappy.....the parasites of the country are as happy as flys in a shit pile.....and their
numbers are rapidly growing, thus, his supporters are growing in that segment of the population.....those on the dole, those not paying income taxes, those on
unemployment, welfare, disability, SSI, etc.....
Are you really so uninformed or just extremely gullible.

Yes it means more people will quit looking for Jobs, and increase dependence on the Government. Open your eyes he is only interested in growing the Government, he could care less about the people, if he did he would never have introduced obamacareless when so many were against it.

Yes that is exactly what he is doing. Would anyone who wants economic growth and prosperity be doing what he is doing? Not a chance. So he is either monumentally ignorant of economics or he is doing it purposefully
