Christianity under fire!

lol.....nice try.....it isn't up to me to condone or condemn anything a deity has done.....or up to you.....even if you do think you have more "sense" than a deity....

I would question god, just as I do now, because any being which kills innocents is immoral. It is why I do not believe the Bible. I think it is the writing of a tribal people who had the misguided idea they were the chosen people of God, and justified their rape, killing and destruction as the will of their God.

I think of all the mass murderers who claimed to hear the voice of god or to be doing the will of God, in modern societies we lock those people up in mental institutions. I have a feeling a lot of Biblical characters deserved the same!

Christian believe there was a Jesus, godman, born of a virgin, died then resurrected and yet, they dismiss as myth all the other godman stories.

Now you want to justify it all by saying God may have been killing to stop some future evil? lol

That ranks right up there with those said Hurricane Katrina was God's punishment for the sins in New Orleans.

I guess God let the Ravens win last weekend because of Ray Lewis.

That's what makes football unfair.

Actually, neither the penis or the vagina is perfect.

Love, on the other hand is divine and natural, and for my gay nephew, loving his partner is natural to him.

Really?

And I've always thought,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

the penis and the vagina were pretty much perfect.

as punishment for engaging in human sacrifice.....

Well,, it is what it is. I don't agree with you here on this one PostmodernProphet, and I do agree with you more times than not, but you have your opinion.

Could you give me a bible verse to show me where this is? The connection with the tribe and human sacrifice.
