Not really. Drones are pretty poor at it. They just are cheap and risk free. That's another problem I have with drones is they attempt to replace HUMINT.They aren't the only tech that makes such leaps, but they're a big part.

Seems to me the liberals posting here are against drones. Which is more than I can say for conservatives who gave them a pass when bush was using them.

liberals are against drones to hedge their bets so when conservatives come to power they can be like "oh I critisized them under obama too" in spite of voting for the guy that uses them all the time.

It's completely irrational to be "against" drones as if they are inherently evil. The only complaint I've heard about them is they kill people... well no shit we are fighting wars... if drones wouldn't do it it would have been an ICBM or traditional aircraft.
