Plow trucks obviously are everywhere. All the drivers I heard from planned to plow continuosly all night.
Quite a few gas stations still open but most are partially or completely out of gas.
A large part of Hyannis has already lost power.
Police were seen at a few intersections, as well as all manner of utility vehicles, fleets of which are amassed at some motels.
Police traffic enforcement was nil and there were ocasional civillian vehicles.

You guys actually have plow trucks? Holy shit. I mean, we do too in theory, because we do work on them every year. But damned if I ever see them in action. Makes me wonder how the fuck they get damaged every year to need us to fix them.
 
The sad thing is that Partick has to issue such an order, because humanity is stupid enough to drive out in these conditions. A guy like me doesn't need to be told to stay in. As such, we are handed the opportunity to debate over the police state. Fuck you, humanity.

perfectly sensible would be to tell people to stay home. not to have criminal liability for driving and then to allow the media an exception.
