How does that apply to Libya?
It doesn't.
Obama did the same thing that Bush did.
And I assume you posted this in response to all of my glowing praise for Obama on Libya?

NO .. I don't know if you support the attack on Libya or not. I was simply responding to what you posted.
War is not a last resort for America and America did not require defense.
Surreeeeee you did.
Did you know that you always repeat what others say to you? That's the "I know you are what am I?" tactic. It's considered the absolute cutting edge in debate tactics...among the kindergarten set.
Aren't you supposed to be a college grad??
No fly zones, continued sanctions, the works. As has been proven - beyond the shadow of a doubt - war is a last resort only, when all other options have been exhausted, and when we have no other choice to defend America.
Trying to make the case that a protracted, destructive 10-year conflict was "inevitable"' and somehow the best option is actually insane.
Another straw man??? Surely you tire of creating them by now.
I said that a war was inevitable. Not the way Bush conducted the war. Thanks for again showing what a dishonest little hack you have become.

Congrats - you get a gold star. And I didn't support Libya either.
Thanks for interjecting that in the discussion. Can we resume talking about Iraq now?
What exactly was the alternative again?
What I would love to see is full airing of the terror tactics the United States employs, and has long employed, via airstrikes and now drone strikes, on other peoples. It'll be hard to keep people honest because many will condemn only under a Democratic, or Republican adminstration, and not vs vsa. BOth cons and libs do this. But if we get a full airing of this, and I think we are headed there, then honest people of all political stripes can have a chance to change things.
Ha. This thread is awesome. All the old chestnuts from pro-war assholes. "I supported the war, but not the way Bush waged it!" Awesome.
Real conversations about war get lost in the smoke and mirrors of partisanship.
War is only bad when the other side does it.
I'm just not going to be lectured on the morality of bombs, drone or otherwise, by certain people. And I most definitely mean the ones I know for a fact fully 100% supported any and all bombing campaigns under the Bush adminstration.
So I really don't give a shit. And that is that. Now SF, you can fool some people and get your pats on the back, but I'm here to be your conscience. That's why you get the tingles whenever I post...it's not your groin, it's your conscience.
Mine's clean. Yours...eh. Dusty, very dusty.
Ignore them. Iraq wasn't really our problem.
Did you see the follow up poll to that Huffpo poll that was making such rounds? Where 75% of Americans supported drone strikes on "high level terrorist suspects?"
Well, the follow up asked if they would support it if civilians were likely to be killed, and support dropped to 27%! Those are the die hard sickos who like killing people as long as they are "foreigners". So I do think that if Americans learn what this drone program is really about, and the fact that it is causing people to live in absolute terror! then support will crater and we can get it stopped.
You always know when SF is backed into a corner on all of the war and death he has supported...that's when he starts babbling about abortion. How long has this been going on now? I can't recall. Many years. Isn't this the definition of insanity?
