you're right.....I can only blame the Republicans for agreeing with the idea Obama came up with.......what were they thinking!

A) Remember when all the Republicans were trying to blame the Iraq war on the Democrats in Congress because they authorized it?

B) Lets see how this plays out, the sequester may turn out to have been a good thing afterall.

Maybe in the long term, in the short term it will put a lot of government and defense industry workers on the unemployment line and the economic impact would probably throw us back into recesion. The irony is that the States that will be most affected are the Red States who sing a good tune about not needing the government and how government is the problem and not the solution. Considering how much of my regions Tax dollars go to the Red States instead of being returned to our States and since we are subsidizing their standards of living, I say it's about time we give these souther conservatives an opportunity to practice what they preach and cut them off of the government teet.

What I was saying is that maybe it will have been a good thing if it turns out to be the big stick that it was intended for to force a compromise to prevent it.

Aren't you guys always bitching about the MIC so why fret about defense cuts?

For crying out loud if people are freaking out about a 0.22% cut in spending growth (remember we do baseline budgeting and haven't had a budget in three years) then we are truly fucked.

Might as well line up fr bankruptcy court now

The sequester isn't going to hurt that much at all.

The fed printing all the money they're printing will.
