America's most miserable cities

Not one Florida city in the bunch. But remember it sucks here. Miserable sunshine and beaches. They won't even let you ride the manatees anymore. If you are one of the miserable people leaving Michigan, NY, NJ, Ohio, Illinois or even California, I hear Arizona is really nice.

Cali also has 3/10 and Illinois has 3/10 as well.

And stringy, I'd rather have AIDS than live in Florida. You keep your old people and shitty driver and hurricanes. Sterling heights is amazing.

That's the thing, they are your shitty old people. If you'd keep them this would be an absolute paradise. Hurricanes are no real worry.

violent crime in Detroit is down 5%......normally that would be good news.....however, since the population is down 50% that's actually about ten times higher......

I'm sure that Detroit has more going for it than whatever trailerpark you crawled out of. In fact Iraq probably does too.

Whatever one calls someone from Detroit, apart from unfortunate, can't be as funny as the Okey Dopey! I like that. Just waiting to meet someone from Oklahoma so I can practice it. Okey Dopey!

Says someone who's never been to either.
Actually I have been to Detroit, but it was a long time ago, and we were just passing through. Still, the place was notorious for its violence. And true, I've never been to Iraq, but I do listen to the news and I do read newspapers. I also have a good friend who recently moved from Detroit, and he's gotten me up to speed. It doesn't take first hand experience to draw connections between the two.

I wouldn't recomend that. Detroiters have accepted their status as a shit hole for a long long time and have a thick skin about it. Okies on the other hand........they're kinda touchy. Think of a Texan with an inferiority complex.

Well, as someone who's did two tours in Iraq and lived in Detroit for over two decades, I can say the only correlation between the two is that people who haven't been there except 'passing through' speak about both like they're experts when they have no clue about anything in either.
