I know too many like this...

Yes I have reading issues but now I make things up to? Would you be so kind as to share what I made up?

Edit: This board is all screwy. Why are posts with replys all f'd up?

Because somewhere along the way someone messed up and dropped a bracket and you guys have no idea how to fix it (as I just did in this reply), and I have been having a high time observing this. But I have to go now, General Hospital is about to start on the soap channel!

Nothing upsets me more than people who drop brackets. They need serious help.

Because you messed up one of the quote tags when responding to me and everybody else quoted yours. lol

I am friendly with a lot of Republicans. I really dont have a problem with disagreeing with my friends over politics...

But... Some people really piss me off and I know a lot of Conservatives like this...

A family member of my wife's, thus a family member of mine... Graduated with a Bachelor's degree a couple years ago, after nine years in College. She went to an out of state school for 9 years, her parents paid for 100% of school and living expenses. For the first year after school she lived with her parents in a very fancy Mc. Mansion. She could not keep a job as a computer programer. Finally her parents made a down payment on a nice house for her and she moved out. She pays the mortgage but only when she is employed, they pay when she is not.

She has a serious pre-existing condition and is a contract employee at her job that does not pay health insurance.. so her parents have her insured as an employee of there business. They pay 100% of the premium.

She is Gay.

1) She is a rabid Republican and belives we should do away with the student loan program and Public Universities.
2) She is upset at Fanny Mae and does not belive the government should be asisting first time home buyers.
3) She hates Obamacare and believes is is just a government giveaway.
4) The only issue she agrees with the Democrats about is Gay Rights.

She loves to point to her nice house and job and tell people how if she can do it without Government assistance why cant everyone.

If you point out any of these inconsistancies she gets very, very angery.
I know what you mean. My favorite first cousin is married to a farmer who is a frustrated southerner. Roots for southern football team and espouses far right wing politics but for all that I love him to death. Always been there for me, if you know what I mean? So he was spouting the same kind of nonsense that your family member was about "making it on your own with out government" and doing away with stuff like student loans and public schools, blah, blah, blah, when I pointed out that he inherited his fathers farm. Boy did he get pissed! LOL

Wow Jarod seriously? I don't think I could be around someone like this. Not in my personal life anyway. Ick.
Oh it's simply amazing that by almost all the very privelaged people I've met who come from wealthy families become succesful because of the vast number of opportunities their parents and family provided for them.....but to hear them talk they did it all on their own. Guess who these people despise the most? It's not the poor or underprivelaged or ethnic minorities. No it's the people who come from poor or working class roots who actually did do it on their own, or at least far more so than they did.

Except for the simple fact that your post is a lie. Romney is no Kennedy or Jay Rockefeller, or John (Gigolo) Kerry, who never worked a day in their lives......
nice try though.....thanks for playing.

You mean like John McCain?

So citizen, you never finished your story. You said your friend on social security makes fun of others on social security but never explained why your friend did that. I'm assuming there was a purpose in sharing the story.

Sorry you missed the purpose.
It is because most of you pitiful humans need to talk down about someone else to make yourself feel better.
Even if you are no better than they are.
That is why the talk radio and pundits have such a following.

But here I am repeating myself for an insignificant human...

And no irony since I am far superior.

I also know some people who had a vast number of oppertunities from their parents and thus became very successfull... who are incredably generous and good natured. They always acknoledge the element their situation gave them and think God for what was GIVEN to them.

I have a fairly new friend. I immideatly liked him. He has two son's about my son's age. The guy is an excellent parent. He did not go to college, but worked very hard at his parents "junk yard business" that he eventually inherited and ran for many years. Over the past year I noticed how generous he is, he is at every charity event I go to, he quietly gives a lot of money. He takes my kids to expensive events with his sons and refuses when I offer to pay for my son. He volenteers to coach every sport my town offers for the kids.

I thought he was a very generous hard working middle class person. He lived in a small house down the street from my house.

About 4 months ago I asked him about work and he said he was retireing (he is about 45 years old) and no longer working. My wife is good friends with his wife, and at the same time she told me they were buying a new house. Last week I went to the new house, its a HUGE mansion on the ocean, but not stuffy at all. A huge pool for the kids with a slide, a mt. biking trail set up for the kids to ride... ect. Yet when the smaller house on the same property needed painting, he did not hire a painter... he painted it himself.

Finally I had to ask... he shyly told me he worked very hard but eventually the land that was the junk yard he inherited was too valuable to continue operating the junk yard on. He sold the land and decided to quit working and concentrate instead on being a full time father.

That guy is my new hero.

This is a very important lesson. I figured this out when I was 16 in Science class when I overheard the kid with the tragically cystic acne impressing the fat kid next to him by selling some poor girl down the river. He was telling the fat kid "yeah she's really nice, she'll give you a blow job if you want one you know". He didn't mean she would give the fat kid a blow job if he wanted one (I assume he did, another thing I learned early is that the answer to question "do you want a blow job" is almost always yes even if it's coming from a farm animal, it's a male thing) he was bragging that this girl was just soooo nice that any ole time he was in the mood for a blow job, she'd give him one out of the kindness of her heart.

Now, neither of these fools had ever had blow jobs, and the one thought nothing of slandering the girl who also went to our school, but...the kid with the tragic acne had one moment where he felt superior to someone. And I thought to myself at the time "everyone needs to feel superior to someone".

To this day that stands as proof of my own natural insight into human behavior. Which I have always been very good at. You can see it even here, that's why anytime I say anything about Superfreak he goes nuts. Cause I'm right on the money. Right on the money!

Are you saying a girl who gives head is to be looked down upon? That is not slanderous, at one point or another I suspect most women have given head.

I'm saying that going around telling guys that a 16 yo high school girl gives out blow jobs is slanderous, yes. We are not talking about women, and further, you shouldn't be talking about women that way either. A gentleman keeps his mouth shut. But especially in high school these rumors are usually false and often damaging.

That needs to change. Any Highschool kid who considers it a scandal is a FOOL. The more we keep sexual pleasure a secret and dont talk about it because its a "dirty thing" the longer that misconception will be with us. Responsable sexual pleasure needs to be celebrated, not hiden.

I for one am proud of the pleasure I provide to my wife, and was proud of the pleasure I was able to provide to the women I was with before I was married.

Okay Jarod. Tell it to Phoebe Prince.
