I wonder how many people realise that the Maldives are run by a hardline Islamic regime. Please sign the petition.

It's hard to believe, but a 15-year-old rape survivor has been sentenced to be whipped 100 times in public! Let's put an end to this lunacy by hitting the Maldives government where it hurts: the tourism industry.

The girl's stepfather is accused of raping her for years and murdering the baby she bore. Now the court says she must be flogged for “sex outside marriage”! President Waheed of the Maldives is already feeling global pressure on this, and we can force him to save this girl and change the law to spare other victims this cruel fate. This is how we can end the War on Women – by standing up every time an outrage like this happens.

Tourism is the big earner for the Maldives elite, including government ministers. Let's build a million-strong petition to President Waheed this week, then threaten the islands' reputation through hard-hitting ads in travel magazines and online until he steps in to save her and abolish this outrageous law. How are liberals treating Bristol Palin any different? They blast the shit out of her with media salvos, and they probably wish that she had aborted her child.

Well, for one, they're not flogging her in public for being raped. Not everything needs to be a war on liberalism. And only a fool would equate these two situations.

Why are you denying the truth of his post ?.....Obviously its not as serious as whipping but it sure as hell has some merit....

It has no meriit. Palin and her family exploited their celebrity and were worthy of ridicule. They made millions off of it. That's the injustice.

You have to be seriously deranged to compare that to what this poor girl faces. Do you get all pissy when someone mocks Kim Kardashian or Justin Bieber too?

What was that you were saying about a strawman? I did not say it was wrong, unethical or immoral but it's not uncommon for those in the spotlight to be ridiculed. It's no great injustice.

They are "flogging" her verbally, however, for an even dumber reason, than that. There is no such thing as a war on liberalism, as that implies that someone else started it. Everyone knows that it's the libs who stir shit up, first. I find your deception inexcusable.
