Actually... No. They commit similar drug crimes and a good number of property crimes and commit almost all the prostitution crimes. But if you want violent crime, go men. Maybe if we shot all women up with testosterone they could compete, but otherwise...Once we let women out of the kitchen into the towns and cities, I am sure the figure for females will increase!

It's by definition racism to treat a fellow American you meet differently because they're part of some group, rather than as a fellow American. The vast majority of black people commit no crimes, you think we should treat them as second class citizens because of a small minority? How can we expect to remain united as a nation if we have such an attitude?

Yes, that's a good point. If we're going to look at race, why not sex? The picture is much, much bleaker in that regards. If we killed all men besides a small minority (to keep up a breeding stock), we could eliminate 90% of murders and 99% of rapes in one go. Don't we have a responsibility to deal such a violent group, so responsible for so much of societies ills?

But you need to look at this more broadly - politics are anecdotal as well. Just because the percentage of African Americans engaging in gun violence is higher than it is in other races doesn't mean you can apply it to all individuals within that demographic. A statistic is a statistic. And this one can't be used to characterize the entire racial group.

But if the 'we' you refer to killed all the men, then 'we' (presumably women) would be guilty of most of the murders and the remaining happy band would have to kill them in turn. Well, at least the restaurants would not be so busy!

I remember reading somewhere a study was done about differences between male and female criminals and, according to the study (that I can't find at the moment), while men are more likely to commit violent crimes, crimes committed by women are far more likely to be more sadistic in nature.

Could the argument be made that since the number of black males is proportionally smaller than the number of white males that the statistics are skewed?
