I cant think of a single act or spoken word of Jesus's that is not consistant with Liberal pholosophy.

Much of the Old Testament is consistant with Conservative pholosophy, the New Testament is very liberal, even today!

You obviously aren't very familiar with either the Old Testament or the teachings of Jesus, because the Old Testament is neither, and Jesus was undoubtedly a capitalist.

For example the Levitical laws dictated a hefty tax burden which you liberal love, and dietary rules much like modern day vegans.

And Christ told the parable of the talents, where he rewarded the servant who took the initiative to grow and invest his money.

Taxes - "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's." (Matthew 22:22.)

There is clearly a Pagan and Christian element to Easter and it can be celebrated either way or both... I know plenty of athists who celebrate Easter. I dont see much religen in the way I celebrated yesterday.

I had 35 people to the house. Ate ham, had a bounce house for the kids, hid eggs, and ate a cake in the shape of a rabbit.

You liberals have turned so many Christian observances into pagan holidays, you need a score card to keep up.

Have you noticed how Halloween is the new Christmas? It used to be a one day deal where we gave out candy and that was it. Then it became parties for adults, and half the women use it as an excuse to bring out their inner slut. Now people decorate their homes for it.

Call it what you choose... My children, wife and I call what we did yesterday, "celebrating Easter". If my kids described it to any of there friends, the friend would say... something along the lines of, Oh.. sounds like you had a great Easter.
