i guess your knowledge of u s history is lacking as the founding fathers were all (well almost all) wealthy people and members of the upper class

still they did something unheard of at the time and despite incredible instances of stupidity and corruption it has survived until today, however, it has been in decline since the capitalists discovered outsourcing. the incredible shrinking middle class may destroy the democracy or democratic republic specified by our constitution

you're making it sound like the framers of the constitution wrote a constitution creating some sort of feudalism where they threw the serfs a bone. try actually reading the documents of the founders to KNOW what they thought and knew when debating the constitution instead of trying to interpret it like they wrote it in 2013.

have you read the federalist and anti federalist papers? i have

the bit about slavery was a compromise between the northern and southern delegate

the exclusion women was uncontested

and no, the founding fathers were not gods, they did the best that they could to establish as free a nation as they could

that is why they put in the part about amending the constitution and we needed it and still do

social change is happening faster than a lot of people are comfortable with and accelerating

maybe we will end up with more freedom, but i fear that we may end up with less
