Judge Overturns Chickenshit Administration Decision

yeah, explain further because i'm having a hard time discerning the difference when a city attorney defends the actions of one or a few, the city council defends the actions of one or a few, the police union defends the actions of one or a few, and every one of the 'only ones' defends the one during the commission of said criminal activity. how is it that if a single cop is beating an arrestee that hasn't resisted is not arrested by his fellow officers? is that not the whole entity acting as one? and does that then mean that .001% of gun owners using guns to commit crimes make it an indictment on every gun owner? where is that difference?

Huh?

It's pretty nutty how you can go from point A to point ZX82 like that. Just a refresher - here is what we are discussing: your clear implication that, because the government made a bad decision, it means that the government always makes bad decisions that that the "people" are always smarter & more effective, even in areas where they have no expertise.

so elected people may or may not be moronic, but appointed people are always smarter than we the people?

most people are morons, and I am very thankful there are educated professionals responsible for such things as making sure we don't have mad cow disease and deadly bacteria rampant in our food supply, and pharma companies can't murder us at will for profit. I know that you can't grasp this, but the FDA isn't going anywhere so who cares.

Again with this "we the people" shit? "We the people" are smart enough to realize that we each individually lack expertise in things like efficacy and safety of pharmaceuticals so "We the people" came up with this nifty regulatory agency who retains those among "We the people" with the relevant expertise to do it for us. And like all human endeavors, that nifty regultory authority is not infalliable.

this is what's incredibly ridiculous about you state worshipers, the inability to focus on the things you need to or avoid answering the questions posed to you that will blast away your quicksand foundation of reality. I asked you to tell me the difference between one cop not being a reflection upon the entire organization, but one gun owner being the poster boy for your idiocy to label ALL gun owners.

I see you still can't grasp the issue. deflection and avoidance doesn't do you any good. how about having educated professionals handle area evacuations from natural disaster areas? Brownie did a heck of a job, didn't he?

I'd love it if you could show me any post where I:
A) Worship the state
B) Make one gun owner the "poster boy" for all gun owners.

Anytime you generalize & lump people into a group, you will lose.

now we're getting somewhere. when that nifty regulatory authority show's it's fallibility, do we hold it accountable or do we create immunities from accountability for it's mistakes?

I am not deflecting or avoiding anything. You are going from one thing to the next. And what's funny is you make my case. FEMA under Clinton was widely lauded, and then we the morons put in office a guy whose entire ideology was based on the idea that government doesn't work, and who had no respect for education or educated professionals. He promptly appointed a moron with no experience or expertise in emergency management. Exactly.

Are you a proponent of QE and increased government spending? even in the face of massive debt? are you a proponent of increasing the size of government to provide for increased regulation of 'we the people'?

The morning after pill isn't the only method available, well at least in the UK anyway.

The copper intrauterine device (IUD) is a small plastic and copper device that can be fitted into your womb by a doctor or nurse within five days of having unprotected sex or up to five days after ovulation (release of an egg).
The IUD stops sperm from reaching an egg and fertilising it, and to some extent prevents implantation of a fertilised egg into the womb lining.
It is the most effective method of emergency contraception and prevents at least 99.9% of pregnancies.
Most women can use the IUD for emergency contraception. It is particularly suitable if:

  • you cannot or do not want to take hormones
  • you are taking certain medication, such as epilepsy drugs
  • you want to use the IUD as an ongoing method of contraception

if my premise of 'we the people' being smarter than the government was incorrect, YOU wouldn't realize that Brownie was a moron doing a shitty job, right? that is not to say that a single person must know everything about everything, but you big government morons need to understand that increasing the size of government only increases the number of morons running the government.

When dead bodies are floating down Main street even morons can tell something is wrong in chinatown.

Well since you brought it up, why don't we ask Michael Brown?
I was all about holding him accountable, just as I was all about holding Nagin and that idiot governor accountable as well. My voice went pretty much unheard as you leftie/rightie morons kept trying to point blame at the other.

Who cares? What's your point? No doubt you are an OBGYN now.

Are you a proponent of QE and increased government spending? even in the face of massive debt? are you a proponent of increasing the size of government to provide for increased regulation of 'we the people'?

Here is where you will ALWAYS lose. You generalize about everyone. You have always generalized about me on this board as "Joe Liberal," and projected positions on to me that I do not hold. You generalize about cops, about gov't, and about everything else. You take the words & actions of one or a few, and you paint a much larger group with that brush.

Who cares what your reaction was? You implied that no one is held accountable when something goes wrong, well, Brown was forced to "resign". He was certainly held accountable. Bush did try to initially cover up for him, but then Bush was held accountable for that. So I guess your question has been answered.
